Just a scapegoat. Carr is playing the Saints and it is obvious. He was supposedly close to returning last season if it were not for us being out of the hunt. He was supposedly throwing as well. Suddenly, his buddy DA gets fired and the new coach wants his own QB. Carr then develops a shoulder injury that suddenly may need surgery.

This isn’t a Saints decision.
It’s a player decision.

They can try to spin it, but this is Carr trying to make a power play. frick him.

He should be hated by Saints fans for this.
*I’ve hated his guts since day one because he fricking blows.

Sad thing is Carr thinks another team will have interest
He and Michael Thomas should write a book together

Thomas has issues, but he consistently tried to play through a significant injury (to his own detriment). Don’t compare him to Carr.

How can you miss a fracture? I’m pretty sure they have instruments and/ or machines that will detect fractures…

It happens. I had a parent fracture his their hip and it didn’t show up on the xray. It showed up on a catscan.

Every stadium has imaging services next to the locker room. If the doc didn’t call for an MRI or something other than an xray, it will fall through the cracks.

I get the disdain growing to hate over time after seeing his on-field tantrums, inability to accept responsibility for the on-field play, the optics of the shoulder injury...; but why the hate from day 1. Was he supposed to turn down the contract and tell Mickey that's too much I need to be paid less?

Lmao, you right, they not close. The team told him to have the surgery and he refused and ghosted them until the start of training camp.

Thomas was a total POS

Players are allowed to make decisions on their own bodies being cut on. He eventually had the surgery and it fricked his ankle up even more. Sounds like it was a no win situation for all sides.

How do you know he needs surgery? What surgery does he need?

He needs to have his testicles surgically reattached.

He waited what like 6 months later to have the surgery when what he decided was wrong and not what the team that pays his salary wanted.

I think reinjured it trying to rehab to rush and try to come back that season.

Do we even know when and how he got hurt? We can assume it was on that sideline flip he got hurt his hand on but they never said a word about it until a month ago.

Took the words right out my mouth.

Saints players should be more concerned with what the Saints medical staff may do to them than what the opposing players might do to them.

Would you let your employer just dictate your medical treatment? He has a right to a 2nd opinion and the team had no problems with him seeking one and then following it. Where he screwed up was when the rehab wasn’t working and he didn’t hit the benchmarks he went in hiding instead of keeping in touch with the teams land their medical staff.

I do think it’s funny that we have multiple threads about how bad the saints medical staff is, then we bash players for seeking and following treatment plans from their personal doctors
