Seriously? A football started to ruin the real things that happened in your life? That's pretty sad in itself.
I think you guys are missing the part where I didn't let an NFL game ruin my good day. That was the whole point.

They looked good. Just need to hope for them they can stay healthy because Murray is playing great and Bryant is a monster.

I guess you can't really tarnish cowboy fan's image any more than it has been...

I technically had it on (TV running) until the end but I can't really say I watched it all.

After a while the Crown Royal kicked in and I lay down.

I did wake up this morning remembering that the Morstead debacle had happened, but everything after that is sort of a gentle hazy blur.

I felt like the broadcast producers and camera crews were unusually kind to the Saints... I was expecting more sideline shots of depressed and bewildered or angry faces on coaches and players, but I think they went easy on us for some reason. Maybe because the Saints just seemed so lifeless and uninterested in the fact that they were losing.

I'm going to be honest. We were visiting my daughter at Tech yesterday, and I listened to it on the radio while driving home. It was 31-3 when I pulled into the driveway. I turned it on long enough to see JG fumble. That was it for me. Wife and I watched some DVRd shows.

I turned it off at 31-3...and then after being sucked back in, turned it off right before the fake punt. I was really pissed that we didn't go for it on 4th and 9 in a spot in the game where if you can make a play and take it down and score, you have a legit chance of winning (as crazy as it seemed).

i watched the whole thing and even started laughing at a few points. I mean... I'm past the era of acting like a lunatic during games and losing my voice because I yelled so hard.

i mean it just wasn't our night. And it doesn't look like its going to be our year. That is for sure.

I know I've seen worse from the Saints in the past so this isn't some uncharted territory we look to be in right now. It just sucks because this team was being hyped up before the season and people were saying this is the most talented Saints team Payton has had since he's been here.

but dare I say that maybe we were due for a little bit of a down year? I mean its just hard to consistently win 10-12 games each year.

I turned it off at 31-3 too.

I have no desire to see Brees/Graham pad their stats in garbage time.

Even if we had scored 4 touchdowns to make it 31-31, the defense would've blown it.

I watched until what I think was a fake punt. After that I got sick of wasting my time watching a bunch of over payed players not even try to win a game.

I did, but only because Brees is on my fantasy team.

Stopped watching at halftime. Kudos to whoever could stomach that crap.

I don't feel ashamed. I've watched enough arse kickings in the past 20+ years. Watching another won't build any character in me at this point.

I watched for awhile until Boardwalk Empire came on and switched to that. Came back for a minute after Boardwalk, saw the score and switched channels. Something is terribly wrong with the Saints family, but I think everyone has already figured that one out.
