They are all coached on talking to the media. That's why they say alot without saying anything. Unless they get frustrated and then they either lock up, or blow up. Coach speak shouldn't exist. Either give the right answer or don't get that question.

If I had to guess they had some "expert" come in and train them on communication and that expert over emphasized using certain key phrases. It's unnatural and insincere.

Saw the Brian Kelly interview on Finebaum and he said it three times also. It's very contagious. I caught myself even saying it in meetings and had to nip itin the bud.

You learn not to say this professionally too though. Cause it comes across to the other person like you think they haven’t been listening. To some people they will get offended by that.
