My gripe with him (and it's not even that big of a deal, I couldn't care less for the most part) is him talking on the PA while the play is still happening.

Like Pierre Thomas could be dragging tacklers for extra yards, the whistle has not blown yet, and you hear "Pierre Thomas on the carry" while guys are trying to tackle him.

Jerry Romig is from From Lakeview, grew up with his kids, who are now in their 50's. He is reallllllllly old. Time to hang em up. Making too many mistakes. How can anyone get him confused for a Yankee. He's a yat, born n bred

he seldom makes a mistake. besides, he has a team of people that tell him what to say. more than likely its someone else that screwed up if he does.

Biggest problem with dome is the lack of replays when you really want them.

I like him. The only thing that gets under my skin is when he pronounces New Orleans, "New Orlee-ins."

This gets me at least once every game.
It got me at the national championship quite a few times.

"Pass incomplete"

"Pass is complete"

Not really a voice meant for announcing.

I honestly think Romig is awesome, adds tons of character to the dome.

You can never tell if he's saying:

"Drew Brees passing complete"

Or

"Drew Brees pass incomplete"

I hate that.
Why doesn't he just pass complete for pass incomplete.

It's not.

I get that he's a legend. So is 29th year veteran Jim Hawthorne. That doesn't make his voice any better.

He is awesome. The general concensus is that the people that dislike him are generally new age saints fans 2006-present.
