Kamara might be the worst starting RB in the NFC south and y’all think he’s our best player? Damn we are in trouble.

Kamara can still play well enough.. question is how fast does he break down catching 7 check downs a game and getting blasted by corners/safeties in the flat?

Until proven other wise Demario Davis is by far the best player on the team Followed very closely by Erik McCoy.

Eric McCoy.
When he went down last year, the whole team with down with him.

Underhill has said numerous times that Chris Olave looks like a Varsity player playing with middle schoolers this entire training camp.

Probably one of the tackles or McCoy. Kamara is the 3rd or 4th best RB in this division at this point.

see this general discussion to me goes against the theory that we are a bottom 3 talent team.

we have a lot of upper end talent. maybe very few truly elites but a good quantity of very very good.

DDs play fell off some last year. His play was o k but no where near what he was.

Taysom Hill if he comes back healthy. Taysom Hill is the most complete player to every play for the Saints. He can play multiple positions. I would like to see him rushing the passer.

No chance anyone on Carolina is better than him. Bijan is better, and Bucky is a wash. Bucky has the potential to be everything AK41 was 8 years ago.

Bijan is easily the best NFC-S RB, hell he's already top 5 (Henry, Gibbs, Barkley, etc).

Hubbard and Jones are better "runners", but theyre still vastly inferior to AK in the receiving dept.

Bucky is better. Him and Bijan are on a different level when it comes to elusiveness to anybody else in the league. There are things Kamara do better than Bucky but I prefer Buckys explosiveness in the open field.

And not much difference between Chubba and Kamara. Both are effective.

I’m not talking about careers. I’m talking right now.

2023-121
2024-136 highest of his career
BTW he is the oldest L.B. in the NFL.
Granted his PFF dropped to 73.6 last year which is still a great score.

I don't doubt those stats of course. But you can still tell he slowed down. He got beat more in coverage and got dragged more than we are use to seeing trying to make tackles. I'm glad we still have him but if you watch him play, he's definitely lost a step.

If Kamara, Olave or Davis is your best player, you do not have a good roster.

If the whole saints roster went into an expansion draft, the first three players poached would be your tackles and your center.

Gosh not many I can even think of. AK for sure.

In reality he isn’t even a top 15 RB right now.

Kamara is the best overall, had the best career.

Mccoy when healthy is the best right now at his respective position.

Also, Olave when healthy is probably our best offensive weapon right now. He's a top 20 WR who would start on any of the 32 teams. You can't say that about very many saints players.

Lol, we have like zero elite players on this team. Kamara and DD in the past but they are past their primes. And no one else at the moment.
