I was really hoping he would have a breakthrough season as a coach and win Coach Of The Year. I guess that was some foolish shite on my part. He IS what he's always been. The sad part is that our GM didn't realize it.

Hell no. The guy is a career loser as a HC. Why I didn’t want Carr at the price. You’re basically taking down the organization trying to slightly elevate a shite HC and shite OC. The hiring process was a lazy joke and shows we aren’t a serious organization.

By surprise if you mean have a winning season then yes.

I predicted we'd win nine games but that's actually still a possibility but I just don't see us winning both of the last two games.

I just don't think we could do it especially with the offensive line we have right now we can't run the ball and so pretty much Carr is going to have to do more so what could possibly go wrong right?

I had my doubts but with the easy schedule and being a stupid fan, I thought we’d be a 10-11 win team.

We had the easy schedule, I was indeed a stupid fan, and we truly have a loser head coach.

I predicted 6-11 to 7-10 so I guess he's exceeding my expectations

I knew he was a bad coach but with this easy of a schedule, thought a monkey coaching this team would easily get 10 wins. Guess I was wrong

He honestly surprised me. He has done better than I thought he would. I thought we would be in a worse position record wise.

I was hoping. I was not confident, however.

Not me...

When Graham signed 1 year deal

Thread asking Carr will pan out

I thought this offense would be at least better than last year with the addition of Carr. That's the only thing I was truly wrong about. DA is among the list of great defensive coordinators that are failures at head coach. Sad thing is that the people who don't see this are the most important. Saints are destroying all the gains from the Payton/Brees era by the acceptance of mediocrity.

I was foolishly hopeful that DA and the Saints would figure it out LAST year, post- Payton & Brees era.

The realization that this team needs a lot of work, from the top down, was already in place before this season started.

Ownership may not have enough fire/passion to make winning moves

Front Office continues to double down on a mediocre team and operates as if they are untouchable (they may very well be)

Coaching staff has been terrible, this you all know.

The players… a lot of bloated contracts for guys who aren’t doing much. It’s obvious we have a lot of aging vets that won’t be with this team much longer, but the OFFENSIVE LINE has been the biggest disappointment to me. None of them are playing particularly well including guys like Ram & McCoy which is kind of a bummer. Not that we’re getting a new coaching staff anyway, but maybe new leadership in that department will reignite some of the fires we saw these guys play with just a few short seasons ago.

Not very many players on the roster that would be crucial to keep through a necessary rebuild/reset. A handful of young guys on defense that have impressed, but this team needs a restart in the worst way
