You have no clue if he would be there at 70.

9. Warren
40. M. Green

Banks was a fine pick at 9, still no way that Shough doesn't end up as a wasted pick unless he truly is our franchise QB for the next decade or more. I think we almost certainly pick top 5 next year and draft our franchise QB then, so we basically wasted pick 40 on a one year rental of a rookie QB.

9) Tyler Warren
40) Shedeur Sanders

At pick 9? Also, I don't think they let you draft two players at once. Pick one.

I wanted Tyler Warren and I was fine with Shough in the 2nd.

The QB that I liked most in this class was Dart though.

I could never get past how he spelled his first name: Jaxson. Just the worst.

Definitely a reason why you wouldn’t want to draft a guy.

I wanted ezeiruakau in the 2nd and shavon revel in the 3rd. Banks was fine at 9. He is going to be really good. I get why they took a qb at 40 but we will see.

Same sentiments. I probably would have went Walker or Tyler Warrenin the first but the more I think about it, moving Fuaga to RT solves a lot of issues.

I wanted Burden in the 2nd and after he went, I would have been happy with any of Mason Taylor, Ezeruku or Mike green.

No way I was taking Broughton in the 3rd. Wanted Revel or Watts at safety.

What a bunch of pussies in this board, gotta list multiple preferences to CYA when bitiching about the Saints drafting later. Too chicken to prove you're smarter than Loomis? PICK ONE.

Every single one of those guys available in the 2nd were ACTUALLY second round talent. WTF is this business of calling them 1st round talents? They’re highly-rated, but by definition and reality they ARE NOT first round talents.

At 9, wanted Warren, fine with Banks

At 40, wanted Treyveon Henderson but he was gone. Would’ve been fine with BPA at any position, didn’t want a QB there

Lets say Will Johnson

If we hadn’t taken Warren, Taylor was my choice

Mason Taylor in the 2nd Rd.
Saints HC Moore absolutely loves pass catching TE !!

1st rd pick …, OT was a needed positional pick and a good selection.

Yea usually the guys you draft out of college tend to be younger than the guys who are already in the nfl.

He has “best tackle in the league” upside

You may be right but that’s not the general consensus. Don’t you think he would’ve been one of the first two tackles taken if he gms thought he had higher upside?? Fuaga was a higher graded prospect than Banks.

I like Banks as a player and I’ll probably never argue with drafting OL in the 1st. But my objective opinion is that there were higher upside picks at 9 than Banks.

This is your 3rd post in this thread without giving your ONE pick each for 9 and 40 that would've been so much better than what the Saints did. Have some testicles, stake your claim or shaddup.
