I’m not, but am legitimately curious who on the saints board is making the trip.

Looked into it but I didn't want to miss any work this early in the year. I saw flights as low as $230 earlier this week on Spirit. I do hear they suck though.

Flights are too high for my blood from Houston to go to an ice land.

Wait till youve had a couple drinks. It might help you decide, in favor of going, of course.

I am going up Saturday and coming back Monday on Spirit. Staying downtown close enough to the skyway that I hope limits the amount of time I’m outside.

Butcher and Boar for dinner Saturday night. No plans other than that so if anyone has any tips I would appreciate them.

Apparently, you people did not get the message. There will be no Saints fans allowed into the state. We have built a wall.

Flying up Saturday around lunch and flying back late Monday. We are still looking for recommendations on what to do other than the game and trying to stay warm.

Flying out at some point Saturday afternoon and returning right after the game. We have reservations at Mannys Sat night but other than that we will go wherever we end up. Most likely with frostbite.

Mall of America. There's a lightrail going from downtown right to the underground drop off at MOA that runs every ten minutes.

Afton Alps-skiing/snowboarding

Check out a show... There's always something from good bands in for a couple shows, the local scene is currently inundated with Irish folk/punk bands and a mediocre hip hip scene so I'd avoid that unless it's your thing, but there's plenty of other stuff.

Or you could do what we do when it's 5 degrees for a high out.... Drink... Like a lot.

Mate I wish I was going but I had to be in Detroit all week. I’ll be there for the Super Bowl tho.

Hit up Zen Box Izukaya - best ramen east of Los Angeles and just 2.5 blocks from the field

North Loop/warehouse district has some great restaurants. Modist brewery is nice and close to downtown as well.

Butcher and the Boar is an excellent choice. Get the peanut butter stuffed Jalapenos(you can thank me later). Red Cow was really good and we had a good meal at Brit's Pub.

ETA: Mercury Dining Room and Rail. It was in the Soo Line Apartment building that we stayed in. Breakfast was great and the burger was really good.

Butcher and Boar is amazing.

Check out Manny's steakhouse while you are at it. You won't regret it
