And you don't care to watch another football game.

After my trip to San Francisco for the playoff game we lost in last few seconds. It is the last NFL game I attended. This past season I watched two Saints games

I used to wait all year for sundays in the fall. Been going to Saints games since I was 5. Next year I feel like I won't watch any games and just stick to college football. I never in a million years thought I would ever say that.

I pretty much stopped watching the NFL a few years ago. Used to be a Sunday ritual. Lost interest because of thuggery, free agents, taking a knee stupidity, moving franchises around, high cost, time investment, and now proof of official corruption at the highest levels. I had gotten excited about the Saints this year, so was starting to come around.

Then... wham! No flag. No flaggggg!!!

Except for the Saints, I’m out.

You don't think college has the same issues in massaging outcomes for favored teams? The NCAA looking the other way for certain teams?

Anytime there is a lot of money involved there's always going to be impropriety. It's just the nature of things. Politics, big business, all sports, Etc.

Ask yourself this. Do you think it's a coincidence that the NFL has never really dealt with a big Scandal when it comes to fixing games or gambling? FIFA soccer has had their scandals, NBA basketball, MLB baseball, every college sport there is. But not the NFL. Nope. They're all above board. The one with the most money (except maybe FIFA). Above board.

Add me in. I don't watch any NFL games other than our Saints. I've given up on NBA and MLB years ago. At one time ESPN stayed on my TV, those days are long gone!

I'm truly thinking about hanging it up completely! This league is a joke! I wish the high money men would start a new league and give the NFL a run for their money again! Bring in the Netflix and Amazon guys and get this shite started!

It's already been dwindling for me. I used to be able to park in front the TV all Sunday and look forward to MNF and TNF. Little by little the product worsened to the point where was really only interested in Saints games. Even this year, which was an amazing one for the Saints, I usually half watched while doing home improvement or grilling. The product has just slowly degraded to something I'm no longer that interested in. For awhile I was no longer on the edge of my seats to see who would come up with a game changing play, but waiting to see what call would set a team up for a W...and that's just garbage. This was the final straw.... def no superbowl for me...havent watched the pro bowl in years anyway. Go saints next year, but I'll be half watching or maybe just checking the score after. The discrepancy between college football and NFL has never been bigger. I'm going to spend my time and energy on the better product.

If you dont live in the Cities where these teams are I dont see how you can be a fan of professional sports.

There is no year to year continuity. If it were not for fantasy football the NFL would have pitiful ratings.

MLB is almost unwatchable, very few teams have a roster where you recognize more than 3-4 players. Be honest, aside from the playoff teams the last few years..you couldnt name 4 players on most MLB teams.

I pull for the Saints. I watch them when I am around the house on Sundays. Occasionally will watch the MNF game. That is it for me.

Grew up a die hard saints fan, from dalton hillard and bobby hebert days. Like many have said, Sundays were spent watching every NFL game on. Probably stopped watching as much 3 years ago around the kneeling bullshite. The saints-eagles game was the first game I watched from start to finish this year. Id rather spend my time hunting or fishing now.

I'm with you. Started thinking, why invest all that energy and time when the product itself is so flawed. My plan is to stick to college football next season and not focus so much on the Saints/NFL. Been losing interest for a while and this put me over the top.

The kneelers almost killed it for me but I stayed true to my Saints. The League may have put the nail in the coffin, they are right we will never forget these opportunities dont come to the saints very often and they ruined our best chance since 09. Love the sport but just like our govt the league is broken. Think I'm done pending on what this disaster brings

Unless there is some major event that gives the Saints a modicum of justice, I don't see myself watching nfl games anymore. But the fall is a long way off and time heals wounds, so maybe I'll watch the Saints. Maybe.

The NFL has lost integrity to me. That call was too obvious to be "missed". It was not called on purpose. That said, I doubt I'll bother watching as it seems more like entertainment than actual sports..

I can’t say I wholeheartedly agree. There isn’t a professional team in the city where I live. I grew up rooting for the Saints because my mom was obsessed with them and made me watch. Since the ole paper bag days. And New Orleans is 3 hours away from me. I’ve also been a Atlanta Braves fan since back in the Dale Murphy days. And I live in Southwest Louisiana. To each his own I reckon....

This may be the only solution for most of us.

I watched a Ben Watson interview on fox news and his answers seemed scripted like some of the talking heads.

The typical bad calls being part of the game and the Saints had a chance in overtime kind of stuff.

The NFL hired a PR firm to handle this mess. The strategy is working.

Media outlets are instructed to broadcast false outrage at first.

The ridicule and jokes about the Saints fan base then follows.

They cherry pick some Saints players that don't appear upset and make us look foolish as a whole.

Each fan must decide whether they will watch NFL football ever again.

I don't think I can watch anymore.

I have all the Dome Patrol games on vhs from my dad, I could watch again.

Sadly, my dad is gone. He passed in 2009. I considered throwing out the old memorabilia of the Saints but couldn't do it.

At least most of the college kids don't really get paid.
