I would rather a young buck who is athletic as well as accurate. Kid looks like to have it all and would probably flourish under CSP. What would it take?

You’re probably talking about multiple first rounders and a couple mid round picks. You might as well give up 3 first rounders snd a player and go get Watson. Imo wilson is a major project and moving up that far would be insane.

I don't think he is worth what we would have to give up. This draft class is pretty deep with QBs and outside of Lawrence, none of those guys are guarantees.

I dont want any of these guys including Watson, if you can't get an elite qb like Rodgers imo your better off trying to draft one. We got Taysom already, jameis will never be worth what he will want.

The Saints need precious picks to fill roster depth from the loss of players in order to maintenance the salary cap.

I think y’all are speculating way too much on what Winston will “want”. What did he do this year that warrants such a large contract? Why wouldn’t he of warranted such a large contract last year? Imo Winston isn’t dumb. He found the coach and the team that is going to change his career around. I expect him to get a 1-2 year deal with an option to opt out after the first year. If another team is going to offer him 20+ mill then i doubt the Saints even consider it. But, name the team crazy enough to do that?

Wilson looks like he would be a superstar in SP's offense. But like every rookie, he's unproven in the NFL.

If you are gonna give away multiple high picks from multiple drafts , Watson is the safer option.

I think our issue is, that 20 million isnt that far off from what starting QBs make league wide. Alex Smith is at 23 Million as the #16 QB for pay. Teddy is at 21 Mill. Hell, Taysom is at 16 Mill.

Agree on Wilson. He’s a Brees clone in ability and accuracy. He will be a fantastic pro

This year’s 1st, 2022 1st, Taysom Hill, and Terron Armstead

Should get the Bengals to jump on this.

They get an OL for Burrow, player to make the offense more dynamic and additional picks that could give them a top notch interior OL this year and additional depth next year.

This trade also allows the Saints to sign Hendrickson.

Saves 24+ mil on the cap

Biggest reason Wilson doesn’t go #1 overall is because Lawrence is the perfect QB for Urban Meyer’s offense.
I don’t think it will be any doubt that Wilson is the 2nd best QB prospect in the draft after the combine and interviews.
Personally, I think Wilson may be the best QB in the draft.
It would take a ridiculous haul to trade up for Wilson.

Y’all way too hyped on this dude. He smashed a bunch of scrub teams last year and y’all think he is the next coming of Brees

Sean Payton has Given away Draft picks before , I wouldn't be surprise if he mortgages the Saints future... Hey we have 1st round picks, 2nds and 3rds ...

He fully capable of pulling a Sean McVay

I sure rather not Panic.

late first, ? , worthless overpaid player to their franchise, tackle made of glass.

They would laugh you off the phone and Wilson would have been taken before you get to the bengals anyway.

You would genuinely take a drafted QB over Watson?

That’s insanity
