I'd think with Brees' declining arm strength, you want another sure-handed target in the midrange game.

I’d be absolutely shocked if we picked at the current slot in the 2nd round come draft day. Loomis and Sean will almost certainly package 2020 picks to move up.

DK metcalf ia currently ranked the #1 receiver and a top 10 pick. He’s 6’4, 240 lbs and is clocked at under a 4.5 40 yd dash. Dude is going to be a top 5 receiver in 3-4 years.
Better chance of getting AJ, who would immediately be an above average slot, but he won't even fall that far to us.

I don’t see the saints using draft capital on another early WR, not with the window closing. You hope trequan continues to develop, Meredith cones back healthy, maybe sign a veteran. TE is kind of the same way

It's a tough spot because without no 1st round pick and no picks until the 5th round, they have to nail this one. I would even have pass rusher as a possibility. Injuries always come into play during the season.

1. One of the Iowa tight ends
2. Elijah Holyfield if Ingram leaves
3. That Hakeem Butler guy looks good.
