What was up with the compression sleeve on Drew Brees right elbow today?

Anyone with any expertise here? Drew hasn't quite looked himself this year (although still very efficient) and I'm wondering if he may be playing a bit banged up. I mean, this guy never misses a game. You hear about QB's around the league being injured every week. Maybe Brees battles through minor injuries pretty regularly.

It was a compression sleeve. It had nothing to do with injury, he said.

He has played in the league for over 15 years and all of the sudden he's going to start wearing a compression sleeve for no apparent reason? Consider me a bit skeptical

He’s been throwing the ball terribly downfield even the completed passes wobble or are at least 4-5 yards away from being picked... I hope somethings wrong because if not its time to start looking for a QB

The first miss to Ginn was pretty bad. And the TD pass was a bit wobbly and definitely off the mark (under thrown and to the left). Ginn really shouldn't have had to take that hit

My guess would be he's fighting through tendinitis or got it knocked at some point.
