What team would actually want to play the Saints in the playoffs?

Yes, the offense is terrible, but would you want your QB to have to go against the Saints defense? The Saints have a weird, puncher's chance to make some playoff noise.

I hope we get the Rams or Bucs. Don’t care about any other team if we play them.

A cold weather team

A team with a great pass rush

A team that can score points against anyone

A team that has 2 games worth of film on us this season, and 3 games worth from last season

We are custom built to beat Tampa. In a perfect world, that is who I want. I think the Rams may be our worst matchup, mostly because of Aaron Donald and Cooper Kupp

The Bucs are really wounded right now but Tom Brady in the playoffs usually means trouble regardless

Give me the Rams. Revenge game, Stafford has been trash the last month, and in LA where there's not much of a home crowd factor and will have a ton of Saints fans

Stafford would good for a pick 6 going up against our D. We'd punch them right in the mouth

If we get in, we play the Rams. There's no other scenario to play another team.

The Rams are the 2 seed and we need the Rams to win to get in, which means they remain the 2 seed. If the Rams lose, we're out.

Rams(2) vs. Saints(7) in the wild card round.

In true 2021 season fashion we might end up getting swept by the failcons.

Defensively sure but I was more referring to our noodle arm QB and unreliable kicker

A puncher’s chance but I’m not expecting much this year. Differs a ton from previous years where I saw us as a Super Bowl team and was profoundly disappointed with all the heartbreak.

This team has a great D, but is very very flawed. It’s miraculous we’re even having this discussion heading into the final week - I expect us to lose the first game as a result. Just tempering my expectations, pump away!

I mean, a run first, tough QB is still perfect for cold, along with Kamara. I agree on the kicker part though

AB always gives us problems, and Godwin 2. Both are gone. Lattimore can erase Evans. I want the Bucs.

Perfect scenario would be:

* Saints somehow knock off Rams.
* Saints have to play in Lambeau in what turns out to be a massive snowstorm that turns into a running game battle.
* Saints face depleted Tampa (maybe we get lucky and they lose a key OL)
