What role did the whole racist stuff with Drew...

Back in the summer play into this season? Were their heads where they should have been? Terrible way for Drew to end.

Very little.
This season ended a lot like last season.
Offensive line got beat most of the game as well as the defensive line.
and costly turnovers.

Absolutely nothing do with it at all

None as far as Drew and the team was concerned as the season progressed. A lot of the fan base was obviously disappointed with his modified backtracking he did on kneeling and embracing the movement. Drew just simply experienced diminished arm strength. It happens.

When you have a ton of turn overs and the other team does not and your qb has zero arm to throw over 20 yards completion, You will always lose a game 100 Percent the time. Brees tried to do a last peyton manning season and could not. Brees arm gave out, nothing about racist

Not much to do with the game, but a lot to do with most of the fan base not liking Brees.

Yep. Tarnished legacy for him now.

So Drew made some comments, upset some of his teammates with his comments, and then tried to make amends with his teammates. By all accounts, his teammates understood, and all was well.
If anything, the experience made the team stronger.
Don't let the PT trolls try to convince you otherwise.
We lost this game because we lost the turnover battle 4-0, with TB having three short drives for touchdowns. TB didn't drive the ball for a TD all night long. In addition, for reasons I still don't understand, our defensive coaches decided to not blitz nearly as much.

According to who?
He's a first ballot HoF inductee, has all the records for now, and will have plenty of endorsement deals, business investments, and a broadcasting gig.
Just because a few Trumpkins are mad at him, doesn't tarnish his legacy in any way.

Tarnished legacy for maybe 10% of saints fans. Those rationale saints fans still love him

Cope. He has a tarnished legacy. Sorry it hurts your feelings.

Nah, more than that. It's "rational" by the way.

Maybe in your mind and in the mind of a few of your PT board retard friends.
You know who has a tarnished legacy? Hall of Famers who kill their ex wife and get away with it.
The fact that you put Brees kneeling with his teammates, in the same category as a dude who kills his ex wife, says more about you than it does about us.

The entire NFL and every fan-base appreciates the Payton Brees Era of the Saints for being an extremely entertaining story for all of these years and for making the Saints one of the winningest teams in the league since 2006.
Hats off and farewell to the Payton Brees Era of the New Orleans Saints!
*standing ovation*

So? What a non-sequitur.

I didn't. You just did. It's obvious that you're not a very smart person, and you're very sensitive about sports.

Drew stands by his words then it would have been a nothing burger. That is why he is getting hammered.

Its really not more than that, and its incredibly irrational.

It's not really irrational to have an adverse reaction to someone losing some of their integrity.

Its irrationale to just assume someone changing their viewpoint is them losing their integrity. Especially when it comes to something he isnt even doing. Just something he isnt condemning. Something that is only offensive if you want it to be. View the act by itself without others opinions of it, and its not a terrible action at all

None... I didn't see any problems with Drew's chemistry with the team and I didn't see any football problems that were any different from the ones that have caused us issues in the playoffs for years.
