Last I heard was an abdominal injury. Anyone know the extent or exactly what it is?

Could be a sports hernia

He was constipated.

So he couldn't give a shite?

That's why I am saying it might be a sports hernia

I hate how Sean plays the injury game.

See Jabari Greer.

Right - and I remember that previous sports hernias were listed as "abdomen" under Payton and the team was super murky about it as long as they could be. Just like this. Hope I'm wrong.

I don't think that is true. I thought they listed them as groin in the past.

It could very well be a hernia but I believe they are usually listed as a groin

It’s listed as an oblique. Those can be painful if severe especially for a CB (twisting hips, etc). It will be interesting to see if he plays this week. If he’s out again this week then the worry meter will be about a 8/10..

Warford was listed as having an abdominal injury and didn't have a sports hernia.

I don't think anyone is officially on the Saints roster until they have a sports hernia. It seems like it is the new turf toe.

The first time I remember hearing the term "turf toe" was in the context of former Saints TE Hoby Brenner. My Dad took to calling him "Hoby the Toe."

Who was the last guy with that injury?

Can't a sports hernia be fixed up pretty quickly?

I just hope Crawley and Lattimore are back for the stretch run. They are the difference makers on this defense, along with Jordan!

Ingram iirc.
On sports hernias, they usually require surgery (generally 6 weeks recovery), otherwise they take an extremely long time to heal.
