I will only be happy if Ingram does to Seattle what Lynch did to us.

How many here would feel pretty shitty about wanting to get rid of his arse in the beginning of the season?

I wouldn't because he was bad but only because Sean Payton held him back and he was trying too hard. He knew he was only going to get 5-7 carries so when he got in, he tried to go for 100 yards each time.

Now that he will be getting a steady dose of 15-20 carries, he is relaxed and can run his type of game. I said earlier in the year this man needs 20 carries a game to get it done because that is the type of RB he is. You can't expect him to run once and be useful

Exactly, he seems to get in a groove and get better as the game goes along.

I was down on him pretty hard as well. However, I said in one of the threads that his fresh legs would excel towards the end of the season and the playoffs.

Honestly I'm thrilled about Mark and Khiry running so hard, but my hope is that we work in the play action more and leverage that on early downs.. I don't care if they only get 5-10 carries a game as the other options are free.

I trust that Payton will have a great gameplan this Saturday.

Let's not forget Robinson....he actually averaged a little more per carry than Ingram in Philly (5.6 vs 5.4). Our running game looks to be improving as a whole.....better blocking, better running, better play calling.

But back to the original point, definitely digging how hard Ingram is running.....hope it continues this week....I think it will.

All and all, with this thread being just for fun, my main thing is that the run game has improved, it seems like it can be a factor Saturday, and it opens up the play action and takes pressure off drew trying to do it all.

As I said earlier, I saw something different about Ingram last Saturday. He had a "can't be stopped, won't be stopped" attitude

He's getting paid to be a contributor to getting this team to the Super Bowl. I EXPECT him to perform well.
