That looks to me like: if he starts, 1 guy got hurt. Yikes

Armstead
Ram
Peat
Bushrod

All would play tackle before him this year

Yeah Peat would slide to LT and Bushrod to RT.

So let me ask you this: What if it's Ramcyzk? Are you gonna put Peat at RT? In the past Peat didn't do too hot on the right side of the line

Bushrod can still play RT.

He played RG last year so he doesn't have the technique issues Peat had switching sides.

I just wouldn't put Bushrod at LT. LG, RG, and RT should be fine for him though.

After that, we'd either have to throw Peat over or hope the rookie is ready.

Currently one have at least one person as a legit backup to every spot but C. LT has two (though with some shuffling for both).

Bryce Harris at RT too.

I will say this, God forbid Ramczyk and bushrod get hurt. But I rather go into an offensive play knowing I have 1 weakness on the OL than two complete unknowns (peat at RT and an unknown at LG).

I can game plan with a TE to chip and help the right side if I throw Leonard or Harris at RT and feel safe on the left.

More than any specific aspect of the Saints, the thing that would incline me to be pessimistic is the number of potentially excellent teams in the NFC: Philly, Minnesota, Carolina, Atlanta, Green Bay.

And, help at CB. When Lattimore was not in the game last year the pass D returned to dog shite. I think Crawley is turning into a solid #2. But after him is a bunch more dog shite and a 6th round pick.

He's not signed. But the unfortunate truth is he always ends up with us

I think you meant we always end up with him. I'm sure he's happy to end up with us.

On DT depth, we have 3 legit starters, and Jordan and Hendrickson can kick inside. If we keep Loewen again he'll also play inside.

People are overreacting about DT.

O-line depth/health for me.

Last year alone Unger missed most of training camp and preseason recovering from the foot injury, Armstead, Warford, and Peat all missed two starts each, and of course Strief went down in the second game.

We lost Kelemete to FA, Strief to retirement, and have added Bushrod, Will Clapp, and Rick Leonard. Bushrod was thought to be considering retirement at the end of last season, and who knows how much Leonard and Clapp can be counted on in year one.

We brought Austin Howard in for a visit, who is still available and would be a help add quality at OT. Jahri is still a FA, and could be added in a pinch to fill in, if needed. It would be a nice boost to the roster if either Cameron Tom or Landon Turner could be relied on as depth.

Man, it's tough. At least 1-2 of our promising young guys might have to be snuck onto the PS

I'd like to keep Tom, Turner, Clapp, Leonard. But I think we need Bushrod and possibly Howard (we need OT depth somewhere). There will probably only be room for 3 depth guys, or at least that's typically what we carry.

If PJ williams even makes the team, much less gets meaningful playing time , we are fricked. Every play he's on the field his play reminds me more & more of the dreaded Johnnie Poe days.
