I'm sure KC will exercise the 5th yr option on Ford. So he probably won't be available.

I don't care where he was ranked. Anyone who watches football could tell this was a completely different defense with Klein in the game. He wasn't the captain of the defense for nothing. He may not have made all the plays but he had our guys lined up correctly to make the play. Give the guy a break, it was the first year in our system. And if you look at the stats, Klein was on par to have a season like Vilma did our Superbowl year. Could we get better at the MLB position? Of course we could...but we signed this guy to a multi=year contract and we're not drafting a MLB this year.

We need upgrades at all three spots. We have very average players at each. We need a game changer there, a three down guy. We get that guy and we go from good to great defensively

He will play all three LB'er positions at once. Pffft draft who needs it.

Not the case. Klein handled communicating the defensive calls and excelled at it.

Maybe because we were dealing with about 10 other injuries when he was out?

We need speed at linebacker, if it's at MLB so be it. Klein can survive playing outside, he can also call the defense as an olb still.
