Title screams "OMG BREAKING NEWS I NEED TO POST THIS BEFORE ANYONE ELSE"

You're first, now edit it appropriately "Saints release Terrance West"

Scott and Williams, the first 4 weeks, will be playing like a mad man. Both are hoping to be the 3rd string back when Ingram returns. In a perfect world Ingram and Kamara stay healthy and we wont need a 3rd string. IMO

Actually it looks like Vereen will make the team the first 4 weeks and then be cut when Mark comes back:

1) Kamara
2) Williams
3) Scott
4) Vereen

4 weeks lattttterrr...

1) Ingram
2) Kamara
3) Williams
4) Scott

Which means the Edmunds either makes it as an FB/ST or is cut as well.

No surprise. He has done about jack in practice and had one good run in two games (and that was because the line gave him a HUGE hole to run through).

He was like a poor man's Hightower, or the Cadet of the running game.

He ran high too.

That's probably my only knock on Williams as well. He looks like Mark if Mark decided to run taller.

I think if Vereen is on the roster week 1 his contract is guaranteed for the season.

So he either will be cut, or we will cut him before week 1 and bring him back for weeks 2-4

I think Vereen still has some juice, however, Scott and Williams are young and IMO hard to cut.

Kamara, Ingram, and Williams (SEC Overload)

Scott ( Local boy )

The New Orleans Saints have moved on from two of the veteran players on their 90-man roster.

In addition to releasing running back Terrance West on Tuesday, the Saints waived wide receiver Josh Huff, according to a source.

The 26-year-old Huff was trying to have a career renaissance with the Saints after sitting out all of 2017. The Saints signed him in January, but he'll have to try to catch on with another team this year.

The Saints also waived safety Rickey Jefferson with an injury designation after he suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee in last Friday's preseason game. Jefferson could revert back to injured reserve.
