Before it was we had demario and kwon so, how could baun get on the field.
We drafted werner because baun was shite. There would be no need to waste a valuable 2nd on werner if baun got on the field.

Or could have just drafted Patrick Queen rd 1 and could have taken a receiver instead of Big 10 linebacker with 40 tackles in 2 years.

Queens last two PFF scores were in the 20’s and mid 40’s.
Bauns was about the same as Queens last year.
Ruiz has at least been in the high 50’s.
