They certainly have a plan for the position since they just traded one of the two we have. (Not counting our QB/TE because he’s not a real TE.

Didn’t Krull play well in camp last year? But he never got any real reps in the regular season. Did he get hurt or eveb make the roster? I can’t remember.

I really prefer not to give up future picks but his physical abilities are worth the risk. Pick him and hope you can teach him to block.

And word came out that everyone thinks he’s going to be fine, possibly by early in the season.

Zack Kuntz

Kuntz seems to be more in the mold of Juwan and struggles with blocking and physicality. He's could be a good longterm bet but doesn't fill the current role needed.

Yeah but you think he’ll be cleared to play NFL football by early this season?? Thats crazy to ask a human being to do that.

Can’t rely on a late round rookie TE for depth

They will sign a cheap vet and be done with it. Likely someone with blocking acumen

He was diagnosed with cancer and had treatments like what couple minths ago. And you want him to be in a NFL training camp and make the active roster??? Name me one NFL player who diagnosed with cancer and played football in the same year lol

I would imagine getting a vet TE. People who panic forget decent vet TE's WILL BE CUT on the big cut down day. You can also trade with teams that have good depth before and during the season.
We are also going to get one or more TE's as UDFA. No need to panic folks over losing all pro under performing Browntrout!

There were literally reports of when he was expected to be back, people aren’t making it up.

Agreed. Especially because our need is more for blocking TE, we should be able to find a vet before or after June 1.

TE does strike me as a need emerging from this draft. I think most people thought it was a need coming in and we just subtracted from what we had. All in all I like the trade and the selection of perry though.

I mean Michael Thomas stubbed his toe and missed three seasons we can’t expected a cancer survivor to play.
