Head Coach Sean McDermott has announced that Nathan Peterman will start this Sunday at QB.

Doesn't make since Taylor played against Saints starters and Peterman didn't. They just faced a good team and got blowing out. GL to them

Wow...me broke his arse. Taylor was leading a team that everyone expected to tank to the playoffs, before he ran into the buzz saw!

What about their entire defense? Blaming Taylor is easy, but they got man handled in that game.

They might as well bench their entire shitty defense too if that's the case.

To me the coach is using Taylor as excuse. What about that defense? Plus they traded a decent DT to jags. I think it is stupid to put a rookie in they are 5-4 2 games back from the Pats. Not saying they will catch the Pats but throwing a rookie out to the wolves with a shitty defense want make things better.

Bills were unsure Taylor was their future before this season. THis isn't about Taylor as much as its about seeing what they have in Peterman before season is over.

They should probably bench every defensive player who couldn't stop the Saints for 24 straight runs.

They are still in the playoff hunt. You don't bench your starter to "see what you have" in the middle of that.
I sure in the frick he didn't do that based on that last drive with mostly backups playing prevent to kill clock.
Our starters after game 2 have made every QB outside Stafford look bad. And Stafford didn't have the best game and only started balling when we relaxed the D with a big lead.

So if they feel Taylor isn't any better and need to see what peterman can do and aren't doing it based on his late 4th quarter performance, then what other alternatives are their bone?

I think this is Bills showing they don’t believe he’s their future, he has a big bonus coming up soon, he’s gonna get cut.

You roll with Taylor this week and if he struggles you bench him. But you at least give him about a half unless he is really struggling.
All this does is create a clusterfrick if Peterman comes in and sucks, because now your starter has hurt pride and you realize your backup sucks.
So for their sake they better hope they are right. Personally I don't give a frick. We already played them and are extremely unlikely to meet them in the SB.

If they really do believe that, then there is nothing wrong with this move.
They're still in the playoff hunt, & Peterman has yet to play against a starting defense in the regular season. Personally, I think it's a bad move & looks kind of desperate. Maybe I'm wrong though, & Peterman ends up being better than Taylor. The Bills get to see Peterman in practice though...that's the only way to compare him against Taylor at this point.

Not enough trend data to bench, bad coaching decision. But it does not surprise me, they made no adjustment to Ginn's motion, moving the LB and opening up the middle, all game.

Peterman led them on their only TD drive against our backups.

Anyone watching that game Sunday could see that Taylor was not the problem. Bills would have gotten rolled with Peterman in there too

Taylor is a scapegoat. Peterman was drafted by Mcdermott. Tyrod was from previous staff. Coach wants his guy to start. Bold move Cotten.

Dumb move imo. He's probably their best offensive weapon. He's having a good year

We also made Kurt Warner and Brett Favre retire

Brett must have just taken another year to think about it
