Good. The Giants really need one. Good call. I'm sure he's great but i don't want a RB that high. Get an Edge or a CB

Well damn. I’ve been on the Love train but he is gone before 8 with that time.

Really think he’d ignite our offense.

Not happening will be biggest bust in the draft.

Well the one great thing about Love for me is I’m absolutely all in on the pick at 8 and it someone scoops him up before 8 that’s just more opportunity for someone we didn’t expect to slide down to us. *cough cough David Bailey who’s the best player in this draft imo regardless of position

Two scenarios:

We get Love- I’m happy, #teamlove

We don’t get Love- Tight hips, Stony hands

Picking 8 or higher in this year’s draft is better than being #8 in plenty of previous drafts.

So fricking stupid.

Like if you don’t think rb is that valuable regardless of the talent that’s one thing.

It’s another to make ridiculous hot take comments like this about guys who have vision, size, speed, strength, and hands.

That’s might the dumbest take in the history of takes. On par for you though .

Throw in a qb and one maybe two OTs in front of us.
The 8 pick may have great value.

Yep. A Mendoza. Fauiogueausga. And fano and we are sitting pretty I feel like those 3 plus Bailey and Reese shake out the top 5-7

At minute 14:10 they start talking about RBs going to teams like the Titans and Daniel Jeremiah talks about how teams need to have infrastructure before picking a RB. I think that’s our problem. We have a good LT, an average RT, the worst guards in the NFL and an injury prone center. Not to mention, only one legit WR threat.

It might just be too early to get the special RB.

Love is a home-run hitter; if he gets in the secondary, he's gone.

You can fix your oline between free agency and day 2 of the draft. Love helps your offense even with one legit wr threat. We need playmakers and that is what love is. Also our receiver group isn’t great but I think they are going to be better than we are giving them credit for. Vele can play and hoping Polk can breakout under Moore. If not Trey Palmer can produce.

That’s what the video talks about. Jeanty is a good RB, but they talk about how he was hit in the backfield most of the time and had no chance.

Ohhh…I didn’t know it was that easy. Seriously though, our OL is trash.

I’m not saying we shouldn’t draft Love. But if we do we better be prepared to overpay for a guard in FA and spend significant draft capital on IOL and TE in the draft. Fixing an OL is like steering an oil tanker, not a speed boat. You don’t turn it around in an instant.

This is my biggest issue. We have literally the worst setup to draft a rb. This offense needs weapons but more so at wr. Olave has injury concerns, vele showed promise but, he we still don’t know what he is. Our interior line is the worst in the league. Everyone saying we can fix the line in free agency. What players are you going to sign that can change our line? This is a very weak free agency class for the Oline. Best case they have to trade for someone or draft love, hope we can find the solution to the interior of the line in the draft. Which is possible but you will be negelecting top pass rusher or wr by doing so. If Love is your guy then take him. But they better pray they can draft a guard or 2 and a center in this draft as well.

i hope we dont and dont think we will but i am against wr in the first round after watching combine. not that i was before but there is depth.

we could trade down a few picks and still get a starter, or grab love and im ok with it when we restructure AK.

Well this year I believe it will turn like a jet boat. Why?
Because its priority #1 for CKM and staff.
McCoy as center can have a top five in the league year.
We can pick up two guards in FA if we wish. Maybe just 3 star kinda guys but with a 5 star center and two first round tackles one in third year and one in second year I think it will be a major change this year. They know its a wasted year again without a greatly improved oline.

Kellen Moore is not defensive minded. 18ppg says we need more offense. I know the defense needs help too and I'd love for a top defender but I won't be mad about offense either.

Doubt he makes it to pick 8.

I don't think he will be either. Love will sell tickets. That's more important than fixing a team.
