We all knew this would end like this.

This is just how this team has been in the playoffs the last few years. No identity on offense really cripples this Team. Payton just can’t help himself but throw 30 plus times a game like it’s 2011.

This wasn't even close to a superbowl team

The results yes, but the reasons are always different. Very good chance Saints don’t sniff the playoffs again for a while .

No identity. This was a good rushing team, but Payton refused to admit and and call plays accordingly.

They haven’t scored 30 points in the playoffs since the 2017 WC.

Why is that?

This was inevitable.

I love Brees, but he should have been gone after last year..

Yes it was. But the nfl didn't want the Saints in it. Not all of these injuries are real.

If Brees was crying before the game it's because he was told this was his last game ever. He knew it.

Plenty of us said this back in august. We didn’t magically get the ability to stretch the field since last year.

Jesus Christ.

All 4 teams in the championship games can make defenses respect the deep ball. Even Brady.

Getting rid of Brees after the Vikings game last year and getting an average QB wins this game and maybe the SB.

Brees cannot do the things a QB needs to do.

To be fair the saints never had a chance to develop an identity. Drew out for half the season, mt out for half the season, you've got all these injuries, covid scratches, I don't know that we had the same starting offense in two consecutive weeks. Hard to do with a sub-prime qb who also was dealing with a half rack of broken ribs. Cgm had a million catches last season. Did he manage to scratch 30 this season? Kamara has been the best and most consistent offense we had this year. You could argue we didn't give him the ball enough today, especially on a day that drew just didn't seem to have it.

The defense the last few years has been good enough to keep us in serious contention, but in this day and age you have to have solid offensive production to be a legitimate contender. We've had it at times this year but not with consistency.

That's why I stopped watching the game with just under a minute left in the 3rd Quarter - I had other things to do and it looked to me like the Bucs were preparing to start dominating, which they did - outscored the Saints 10 to Zero in the 4th Quarter.

It’s his ego. His ego is why we’re paying the frick out of Taysom, while we’re strapped for cap

The truth is hard to accept. Winston completed the only downfield pass tonight.
