There's no evidence to support this whatsoever.

For all you know it fell beside the seat, or simply wasnt immediately visible for a variety of reasons.

The police have said they didn't find a 2nd gun.

They don't need a warrant to check in between seats. They do possibly need one to check the center console, glovebox, trunk, etc.

There are tons of exceptions to this that frankly, I don't know all of them. Its a constantly changing part of Con Law.

jeeze - you havent learned about making bold statements based on little to nothing?

So now a spokesman saying they found no visible weapon is little to nothing? If the police didn't see it while they were searching the vehicle, what rational argument can you make that Hayes saw it?

So you think Smith threatened Hayes with a gun he didn't have?

Again, saying you have a gun is not the same as brandishing it.

And, you didn't quote my entire post.

What did I miss from your post? Was that not the relevant part?

that it was a call that came in from the scene very quickly, and a shooting and some time elapsed between what hayes saw and what the cops did?

did the gun fall between the seat? did someone tuck it away? the police not immediately seeing it doesnt mean it wasnt ever visible to anyone.

Again, it would have been found if it was between the seats.

Also, there's no evidence to support your hypos

So now searching the vehicle ignores obvious places to look? And apparently also makes goes paper thin soe they can fall between a seat and a console.

Look at all that space that a gun would just randomly fall completely through with no assistance.

Who, the dead guy, the guy that shot him?

This will piss people off but what would this thread be like if one of the individuals was white or a police officer?

What would the discussion be like if a famous person wasn't involved?

What if he was wearing clown shoes at the time he got shot? See, I can ask irrelevant questions too.

If Hayes was wearing them it would have been the cause of his harsh breaking.

If Will was wearing them he would have tripped on them causing Hayes to think he was reaching for a gun.......

Do you think where it was found in the vehicle relates to the timing of NOPD releasing that info?

Meaning if it were on the seat or floorboard, would it have been made public sooner?

Or if it was concelead, it came out two days later?

Nvm

quote:

This morning (April 12), detectives executed a search warrant on the Mercedes G63 and the Hummer H2. During the search, detectives recovered a fully-loaded revolver inside Hayes’ vehicle and a fully-loaded 9 millimeter handgun inside Smith’s vehicle. No bullet casings were found inside either vehicle and no ballistic evidence was recovered to show that either weapon was fired during the incident. A search of the Impala is pending.

So we arent positive who was hit by the .45 as ballistics has not been completed. Correct?

Hayes had the .45, that was the only weapon fired (outside of his vehicle) from what I understand. So Smith and his wife seemingly got hit by the .45

They recovered an additional gun, a revolver, in Hayes' H2 that wasn't fired.

They also recovered a 9mm in Smith's car that wasn't fired
