5) Mike Evans
4) OBJ
3) Hopkins
2) AB
1) Julio

Then Bobby Carpenter came in “you forgot the guy with the best twitter handle in the game, more catches in first 3 seasons then any other guy in history... gotta get my guy Can’t guard mike in there!!”

Cruz said he didn’t put mike in there bc he’s “still young” what a great reason.

In before frick ESPN

That tier A bunch (the 5 listed and MT13) are all interchangeable, it doesn't really matter

Of course Victor Cruz was hired by ESPN. Raised in New Jersey and played in New York. It's his birthright to be employed by them.

And Bobby Carpenter was a Cowboy and daddy was a Giant.

So predictable.

I didn't realize Evans had 1500 receiving yards and was #3 in the NFL last season in receiving yards.

If you don't think Evans is considered a top 5 WR, you're too much of a homer. Honestly, Hopkins at 3 is high, but you could easily put MT13 in this mix. Very interchangeable.

IDK - he was graded by PFF higher than Julio and MT13 last season despite having a worse supporting cast.

You can make the argument he's the best WR in the NFL.

Mike Evans is not better than Thomas.

He is a great receiver but a LOT of his gaudy numbers came in 2nd halves when the Bucs has surrendered leads and the defense was softened. For example in his last game of the season almost all of 170 yards came down two touchdowns.

His list is fine. Evans, MT, Tyreke all have an argument for that 5th spot. I would put MT or Hill over him, but dont think its crazy to put Evans there.

How do their QBs factor in?

I call it a wash because while Brees is a better QB he is methodical about spreading the throws and regularly checks down to a third, fourth, or even fifth option while Winston is very dependent on his 1st and 2nd option. Evans was not in the top 100 receivers in the NFL in catch percentage at 62.3% as compared to Thomas 85.0%. Evans was not in the top 50 for Yards after catch at 282 to Thomas 514.

Beckham is the one that's the most overrated. He's missed 16 of 32 games the last two seasons and hasn't been elite since he's become a total diva.

Hopkins was putting up big numbers even with QBs like Hoyer, Savage, and Osweiler

You can't just figure in talent. Do you really want OBJ and all his bullshite drama? Or Brown's? Or Evans? frick all three of those headcases.

For that reason alone, Julio, Hopkins and Thomas are better imo.

It is actually kind of a shame for Mike that OBJ and Evans are basically the same age and they have had two more years under their belt.

MT had more targets from a substantially better QB. Catch % and YAC are attributable to that, and the sort of routes they run.
