There isn't another location to go besides New Orleans.

Funny, I also happed to hear from a former football player that the Saints are in fact not for sale, and will not be for sale until the passing of Mrs Benson.
My guy also doesn't not deal in BS. He's straight up connected.
See how this works.

Hearsay is not admissible here.

Would a sale of the Saints before the passing of Mrs. Benson have greater tax implications than after?
Let's say, Graves or Tillman want to go all in and buy her out now instead of later. Wouldn't that create a heavily taxable event on the federal level for the Mrs. Benson and the Benson Trust?
Now because the team's ownership is wrapped up in trusts that upon death of Mrs. Benson the trust will just liquidate and donate the proceeds to various New Orleans charities as deductions and perpetual endowments and end up owing Zero in taxes.
Who knows an agreement with Graves or Tillman may already be worked out in a behind the scenes handshake deal. Any deal would still have to go through league approval, but either party should be well capitalized to finance the purchase and continue operations whether it is the Chicken Finger Man from Baton Rouge or Houstan's Golden Nugget Boy. Only issue with the Golden Nugget Boy is that he also owns the Rockets, I doubt the NBA would allow him to purchase the Pelicans.
I am a sports fan and not a financial advisor.

San Antonio will never get an NFL team as long as Dallas and Houston have one.

The people in the business of buying and selling NFL franchises don't mingle with football players.

Yeah NFL franchises appreciate about 20-25% per annum. Nobody is selling an asset like that.
No. That gets baked into the sale price. And you sell it. And make an unfathomable amount of money.

Everything is for sale for the right price.
The right price isn’t coming in NOLA, and she won’t sell to someone who will move the team bc it will ruin her “legacy”

That would be great. Pedo protector maw-maw would have more money to donate and we'd have a serious owner.

I think when she die, I believe the two teams go into a trust and the trust will only sell it to local ownership to keep teams in New Orleans, but not 100% for sure.
