Very hard to get a franchise QB through FA

Saints got lucky with Brees. TB got lucky with Brady. But most franchise and championship QBs get drafted and stay with that team. Look at the past 15 Super Bowl winners and all I see is Brady, Manning, Brees as free agent signees that won the Super Bowl. Matt Stafford was traded. Saints need to find the future in the draft. You won’t win a SB with Derek Carr.

Yeah but you pretty much tied yourself to him now due to the financial investment for better or worse. I just hope that if we underachieve we have the balls to draft a guy and admit the mistake.

So Carr looked like dogshit all year with Jacobs in the backfield gashing teams for 5 yards a carry and throwing to Davante fricking Adams, but yeah he’s in black and gold last year with a struggling Kamara and Chris Olave and he’s a much better player.

So Josh Jacobs has a career year, Davante Adams tears it up per usual, and coaching is the excuse for why Derek Carr looked like shite - just him though.
And I don’t fricking care about Mahomes and Hebert. Neither of them have anything to do with how Carr looked on the field.

How many Raider games did you actually watch season besides the Saints game? From what I can tell from Raider fans, they weren't very happy with him leaving and blamed most of the season on McDaniels. Especially the 5 blown double digit half time leads.

So a couple posts from November/December of 22 when the whole team was a dumpster fire, nice. Just gotta hope you're wrong, he's the QB. I'd imagine anybody in that front office on Airline know more than anyone on this board. If any of us did, we wouldn't be posting on a toxic message board like TD.
