I see most of us bitching about Harris, but did I miss where people called out Vaccaro for some of the worst play I've ever seen?

It was bad enough he bailed them out on multiple drives, but that jackass literally just gave up on a live play where the DL actually did their job.

Some leader he has become. Really hope the Saints cut ties with him after this season unless he's willing to come back at a discount.

So you're questioning his leadership and saying we should cut him because he made a mistake?

The guy is good in that hybrid S/LB role that has become so popular in the league. He's valuable there. When he is asked to do things like he was asked to do yesterday he fails. I'm putting more blame on Allen for putting him in a position to fail.

Most of us knew he was a liability in coverage, but I've never seen 1 player give up on so many plays in one season before.

I question any player that gives up on a play like that in any game much less a key one for his team. It was pathetic.

I didn't say cut him Einstein. I said I'd part ways with him as in at the end of the season unless he's willing to take a paycut. While he is good at some things, the guy is way overrated and not a leader to make up for his shortcomings.

If he wants market value, he can go elsewhere, and I think the Saints can find a reasonable replacement.

Cut his arse. Let him disrespect the Country which gives him the amazing opportunity to get payed millions to play a game for some other team.

WTF happened on that deep pass. When the ball was in the air I thought he would have a chance to pick it but he just stopped. Did he think the play was dead?

probably lost track of the ball or thought it was going to be thrown away.

he keeps running with the receiver and he can make a play on the ball.

what was more shitty was watching him just slowly jog afterwards watching Williams clean up his mess.

let him walk. he's a decent slot corner and he's great in run support, but he's an atrocious safety and that's his actual position.

I hope they let him go. He is too much of a reliability.

Like covering? Shouldn't a veteran safety selected in the first round be able to do that?

Lattimore makes him look better than he really is. Period.

Jesus Christ... What's with you and people like you that take such an interest in what a player is paid. Today it's Vaccaro, tomorrow it's Brees, a few years ago it was Sproles.

If you want to knock his play yesterday, fine, do it. There is plenty to bitch about there. Want to argue that the secondary was decimated so he was playing out of his comfort zone? That's a valid statement too. The other 31 teams in the NFL drive the price of players, not "well you gave up on that play against the Rams, so we're going to give you less money." Finally, it's not your money; so shut the frick up.

I'm not convinced Vacarro was fully healthy yesterday. Not making an excuse for his play. We all know he struggles in coverage off the line, but he looked a few steps slower yesterday. I think the groin is still an issue. Hence the jogging, etc.

He is just not meant to cover a WR. Strictly tight ends.

He’s been jogging all year. He makes a few big plays but he loafs A LOT. Go rewatch some of the long runs against us this year, as soon as the RB gets a step past him he gives up on the play.
