Would you'll have rather drafted Kilgore there or the trade we made?

trade. We needed someone who has seen NFL snaps otherwise you’re hoping Chris Rumph steps up

Kilgore is still available midway through the 5th. Hopefully he’s there at 172.

You traded a 5th round pick for a former top 10 pick (whos had some production, but is more of a run stopper. Still has his option if we want it) and a 7th rounder

Wilson may never be what ppl thought he'd be, but he fills a need and is better than pretty much anyone we would've picked there.

This was a great trade

Wilson

Another former top 10 pick that they hope to resurrect similar to Chase Young.

You have to prefer the first round talent that hasn’t reached his potential over a 5th round talent that maybe out plays his draft position.

Abney or Rivers is the question. Both slot guys

Wish we’d move up and get him.

They just showed that 21 all pros have been drafted in the fifth round in the last 20 years so basically one a year. This is a deep draft.

Wilson might hit with the saints and I don't mind trading the 5th rounder for him but good players are drafted in the 5th every yr.

Rivers or Abney would have been perfect for this team. Both slot corners.

We dropped the ball not moving up for one of them.

Oh yeah, the 5th round produces a lot of gems

But I think Wilson is better than anyone we would've gotten at that position specifically. The EDGE class was pretty much gone

How many guys drafted in the fifth round don’t even make the roster? Or never start an NFL game?

Probably a good number.

Wilson grades out in the 50s/60s on PFF and word from Raider fans is he has no get-off. I think I still like the trade. I hope he comes around for us and makes us better on defense
