I think the Edge players worthy of #27, like Chubb and Davenport, will be gone; ditto the DL's like Payne, Vea and Bryan, and the top 4 LB's (Smith, Edmunds, Evans and Vander Esch).

WR Calvin Ridley will be gone and he seems to be the only WR with a universal 1st round grade.

So that leaves OL and TE.

On the OL, Isaiah Wynn, Will Hernandez, James Daniels, Billy Price, Connor Williams, and Kolton Miller are all guys that could be available at #27.

At TE I think they'll have their pick of Hurst or Goedert, who are the two TE's they have scheduled visits with.

I'd rather they go OL, but in my gut I think they go TE based on Brees's age. Brees has maybe two years left. An OL might not start for 2 years. A TE could come in and get at least half the snaps along with Benjamin Watson.

So my guess is: TE Dallas Goedert

If I get 5 guesses, my guesses are:

Dallas Goedert
Hayden Hurst
Isaiah Wynn
James Daniels
Connor Williams

Not a top 5, but I think we go front 7 on defense or O-Line. Probably about 10 players to choose from in this scenario.

SP finally sees the writing on the wall for Brees and they draft his successor in the one and only Tim Tebow.

They are predicting Mayfield in the top 5 now. Dont beleive he is realistic at all. May be Clevelands #1 overall.

I’ll give a top five:

DaRon Payne
Taven Bryan
Billy Price
Isaiah Wynn
Rahsaan Evans

Would love Vander Esch but he’s been rising too high. If Evans is there I think we take him over OL. But if he’s gone and Bryan and Payne are too (along with any decent pass rushers) then I could see us trading back. I hope that doesn’t happen though and we can grab a front 7 guy on defense (an impact player) and then go best TE left

Goedert - only one on offense
With the number of QBs projected early, a LB or DL could slip to us & than who knows.
Who would have projected Lattimore getting to us last year?
It is one of those drafts ??

PFF lists Mayfield as their highest rated QB which scare me little.

But I think he would only excel in a handful of offenses, and the Browns are not one of them.

Saints, Packers, KC, NE, Rams, Oakland, Detroit and Denver seem to fit his game, imo.
