Love how tenacious this kid is, not sure he’s a LT, seems better suited for RT and kick Ram to LT… but I’d love him at 18 if we can’t get Cross who I suspect will go top 10

I think he will be the pick if he’s still there

Saints love drafting elite RAS guys…

Trevor Penning is a OT prospect in the 2022 draft class. He scored a 9.96 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 6 out of 1175 OT from 1987 to 2022

Sean Payton no longer coaches the Saints. No one knows who we might pick.

Loomis has a ton of pull and he's a huge RAS disciple

Wouldn’t be shocked if Penning ends up going before Cross. But yes I like Penning a lot. Big physical athlete

I actually think guessing who our pick will be will become easier now that Sean isn’t the coach.

As long as it is a WR or OT then I am happy.

Unless Stingley ot Hamilton fall to us. Then I want one of them. Both are future all pro players.

At this point I don’t believe any of the tackles fall to us

Eta - could be a trade up scenario though if one falls enough

Hope for a run on qbs ahead of us and we might be able to grab a top tackle. We also sit at a good spot for someone to move up and possibly grab a qb they want if they make it to 18 and grab some more draft capital.

Penning won't be there at 18

He is always available on the PFF mock. What ive been doing is trading down scooping up extra picks and grabbing Big Trev at like #27.

You don't draft in 1st rd with the idea to switch positions after. If they were suited to play the position in the NFL then they'd be playing it in college. Projects come later in the draft
