I hope you’re right. Because if you are then he will sign with us. We are the best scheme fit for him, we would pay him and we would win some playoff games with him.

He would do the latter two things in LA too, but he doesn’t really fit their scheme. The Rams have Brockers for NT, something Suh didn’t like playing and I don’t think he’s quick or agile as Donald to where he could move out and play end

Someone needs to show suh that there’s a 38 page thread of people obsessing and combing over the internet for a whiff of news on him signing here.

He won’t get that kind of message board commitment from any other franchise. He needs to prioritize his pros and cons factoring tigerdroppings at the top.

He said from jump he was going to take his time and make a lot of visits.

I also don't buy that money hasn't come up at all, as I feel his agent is at least getting ball park figures, but I do believe that specifics may not be being discussed until he finishes his visits and starts to narrow things down.

And I believe he's going this route for two reasons:

First is the fact that he jumped and signed with Mia during the legal "tampering" period iirc, so he didn't take any trips. This wound up biting him as the Dolphins ran a 3-4 and were not changing the scheme to accommodate their expensive new addition.

This lead to friction between he and the coaches (and also likely some teammate). The next year they made a switch to a 4-3.

I think he really wants to avoid going somewhere where he feels he won't be used how he wants to be. So he's really getting in there and trying to get the vision of what these teams have in mind for him.

The second reason is that this may be his last chance while he's in his prime to go for a ring. I'm sure the money is important, but I do believe he is dead serious about wanting to win.

If he retired today he'd still be set money wise with all his business ventures. But if he goes to a team and wallows in mediocrity his football legacy will continue to be him stomping on guys' heads. I think he'd like to turn that around and try to go out with some playoff wins, and hopefully and ring to go with it.
I think he signed with Miami immediately because he was given an offer he could not refuse. If the same thing happened on this "tour" I think he would end things immediately and sign. I just think he has not heard the numbers he is looking for and continues to search. He may have to settle for something less than he wants, but he will continue to search for the money he wants.

I’ll be more pissed if he goes to Oakland than any of the others. We’ve already been Gruden cock blocked with Jordy Nelson.

Same. The thought of Newton, Ryan, and Winston getting pummeled is arousing.

He can be with his former teammate again
There is a part in there that said he did text him to come here to New Orleans to win him a ring

I am guilty also. But once I went and looked into it he seems to have changed his ways the last few years. Then what Bushrod said yesterday sealed it up for me.

quote:

@WWLAMFM Jermon Bushrod on Ndamukong Suh: "He's a good teammate. He takes this seriously. I know what he brings. He tries to bring young defensive linemen up to speed. He cares about winning. He's a good person to have."

also for the people talking about the money thing. Money is yet to be discussed.

quote:

.@Schultz_Report on @Midday180: @NdamukongSuh in a 3-4 he could be the end opposite @Jurrellc or even play nose. Scheme is important, but culture and winning trumps all.

quote:

@PaulKuharskyNFL On with @Midday180, @Schultz_Report say indications from @NdamukongSuh are he will choose between #Saints, #Titans, #Rams and #Seahawks. All about chance to win, not money which is why he didn't talk money in New Orleans or Nashville.

I don't believe that at all.

You don't need to take visits to find the offer you want, and visiting a team rarely gets them to just up their price.

If this was about money he could have just stayed at home and got his agent to call around and field calls.

The visits are about finding a place he feels like he fits and believes can win.

If his decision is going to come down to the Saints, Rams, Titans, and Seahawks I think his best options are Saints or Rams. The Legion of Boom is done and they seem to be in rebuild mode. Titans are going to have a tougher time in their division. Jacksonville should dominate it again and Houston will be better with Deshaun Watson returning.

I think we have the leg up currently because of Brees and Jordan. We offer the best combination of offense and defense to win with.

The way they're progressing! I get hyped talking about their growth about how much they continue to push each other to be better...I think we have a pretty good interior line... And with Suh we'd have a vet who knows how to push them to be even better...But [shrug emoji] we shall see

Almost sounds as if Cam is getting sick of waiting on Suh's decision as well.
