Suh made his move. It's plain as day. Suh hasn't gotten an offer close to what he wants and thus "leaked" info in hopes one of Saints, Rams, Titans folds and ups the price.

Personally, I want Suh in the worst way. Our front would be insanely nasty. If it doesn't happen, however, then good luck to him. Hopefully if he decides to go elsewhere Hankins is still available. The $ isn't an issue here as many have said. Even taking off the B&G sunglasses, the best fit on the field and at a championship is here. But, common sense isn't common for everyone.

Why wouldn't this also apply to the Rams and Titans?

I'd rather roll with the three DTs we have than sign Hankins. I don't think he'd be an much of an improvement, if any, and will likely cost at least $6 mil per.

Pretty much Suh or bust at this point. If Suh goes elsewhere then frick it. Start looking at WRs again. The money spent there should be an upgrade over what we have (depending on Snead).

What's crazy is Hankins was let go specifically because he does not fit the Colts' new 4-3 defense. His body projects as a true NT in a 3-4.

What's crazier is that $uh ideally fits a 4-3, has produced his best while in a 4-3 and yet he's flirting only with teams that run a 3-4, with the Saints being the lone 4-3 option.

That whole thing was bullshite. Hankins played in a 4-3 all 4 years with the Giants. He only played with the Colts one year.

The real reason they let him go was because they paid him a shite ton and he didn't live up to expectations.

Hankins would be a huge improvement over Davison. He is solid in run defense, somewhere we could use someone to eat up linemen. He is certainly not Suh, but Suh really does not seem interested in the Saints unless they back up a Brinks truck.

Rapaport reported last night about the Jets offer and in his report, he mentioned that the information he has received indicates the Rams and Titans ahead of the Saints in the pursuit of Suh. So, it appears we are in 4th in this (if Rapaport's info is any good).

I think it’s about time to cut our losses and accept he’s not coming here. To much smoke. Let’s not forget though, we have three young and improving DT’s that all played well last season. I’d be in favor of adding another run stopper to go with those guys.

Davison had become our 3rd DT as both Rankins and Onyemata played more snaps, and I'm not sure Hankins will be better than these two rapidly improving young bucks.

And you don't sign your 3rd DT to a $6 mil+ per year deal.

So if we don't get Suh frick DT and look back into getting a receiver.

Not sure he would be third. I would think he would start. The DTs are rotated a lot in our defense and Onyemata is not a player that eats up double teams for others as Hankins would. Not sure how much Hankins would cost (agree that over $6 million a year may be too much), but at the right price, would definitely add to our DLine.
