Just stop. This dude is a gamer whose been on a below average defense since he's entered the league.

Coverage on Julio Jones last night looked much better than just about anything Ken Crawley has done this season. Not to mention the chemistry Lattimore, Bell, and EA will have for playing college ball together.

I like this trade and it DEFINITELY helps to address the most significant weakness on our team. RELAX - We riding, boys. 5-1

I know. PP21 would've been nice but I trust what the front office is doing.

I am still holding out hope for PP just like my mega millions ticket lol

Apple is a solid add though and helps with our biggest weakness. A NFL caliber starting CB and CB depth for a 4th. Good move by the FO.

You’re on an LSU message board and an all time LSU great wants to play for you and you showed interest back. People are just bummed because it would have been amazing to rock a PP Saints jersey.

Haven’t seen really anyone say the Saints paid too much for him. Just questioning the locker room fit, which is the reason he only cost a 4th and a 7th.

It’s a good deal. You can’t just discount the fact that fans saw reports yesterday that Patrick Peterson wanted to be traded here. That never happens.

Walter Football seems to like the trade.

Eli Apple was the 10th-overall selection in the 2015 NFL Draft, and he looked awful Monday night trying to defend Atlanta's receivers. However, he has loads of talent, and he's only 23. He still has time to find himself, and it's possible he could be a late bloomer. The Saints have terrific coaches who should get the most out of him. Trading a first-round choice for Apple would've been a disaster, but a fourth-rounder is totally worth it

ShamelessPel - I hear you and I agree with you.

I would've loved PP7 in the Black & Gold but what I'm arguing is that this trade only helps our already good Super Bowl Chances.

Giants are going for Patrick Peterson now. They’re fans are fired up about it. None of them care about losing Apple.

Lael Collins is so overrated on here. 49th ranked tackle on pff. Nowhere in the same stratosphere as our two tackles. Why do people act like he’s amazing on here so often? Is it because of a few really great highlight plays?

You’ve got to be the dumbest fricking person on this site... what do you think is going to happen when 300+ lb OL goes after a 180-200 lb CB???? These OL aren’t playing in the NFL without being able to throw that kind of weight around...

A 1-6 team with no QB or Oline is going to give up assets for a 28 year old corner who will make top dollar?

Not buying it

Not to mention PP wants out of Arizona by they are 1-6

Im going to try and keep an open mind about this and hope he is better than what has been showed. The Giants are such a mess all around that its hard to really look good.

I haven't kept up with Collins, but during/ after the draft most people were looking at him as an elite guard prospect. He played there as a rookie and did pretty well. The Saints are pretty good at guard when Peat and Warford both play

Peterson was always a pipe dream. We have no assets to trade and no cap space. I don't think Apple is a bad acquisition, but I'm not sure I would have given up two picks for him.

Dude has some electric highlights for a lineman but he’s average overall. Incredible athleticism for his size, though

The first one the other guy posted wasn't even Collins.

But all 3 you showed were him against 2 DBs and a LB. He isn't mauling DLs like that. Not to mention the head of steam he had getting to the DBs.

But Collins strength is run blocking. He gets his arse handed to him too often while pass blocking. That's why they keep bouncing him around the line to see where his weakness hurts them the least.
