The Dwayne Haskins funeral thread from earlier today got me thinking.
Did your parents (divorced or together) attend your wedding? What’s your opinion on if there’s any type of obligation to attend your child’s wedding?
A friend of mine has his wedding coming up this summer and just heard that his dad will not attend. He doesn’t have a close relationship with the man (dysfunctional family past) but he’s still shaken up about it.

Yep. This. People on here complain bc they live in their bubble in Louisiana and think the world revolves around them. I know the type all too well. Pretty much claim to live by the teachings of Christianity and looking out for their neighbor but also all too quick to point out they are “holier than thou”.

It's a challenging job in that most of the days and nights are spent in front of your computer for hours on end but if you're willing to work hard and network both internally and externally, you will come to thoroughly enjoy the experience (just my opinion - obviously this doesn't reflect how everyone feels).
Also, the firm benefits (at least at EY) are fantastic. Medical coverage, $1,000 per year 'Health & Wellness' benefit, Marriage and Legal counsel (OT divorcees, looking at you), etc. They also pay for Phone bill, internet service, etc.

We're staying at Rosa Del Viento. I'm aware of the COVID restrictions in place currently that require a negative test before returning to the USA. Thankfully, the hotel mentioned they can help schedule the test and have it conducted on sight.
