Yup, Last 2 games 5 TDs and 1 INT (even though that's "normal"...lol).
Brees 7 TDs and 1 Rushing TD

Currently, he has 9 total TDs on Brees, but Mahomes has played 1 extra game. So if Brees can come out hitting 3 TDs a home game, he should catch up close enough the TDs wont be a discrepancy.

Keep that up over the last 6 games and Brees might catch up TD wise.

Drew was simply INCANDESCENT today unfortunately, since the media votes on this stuff and Mahomes has been the media darling all season and the narrative continues to maintain as the Chiefs keep winning and he keeps submitting good performances, he may lose out on it as unfair as that may be but, if he does, I hope he makes that race as close as possible. Also, Mahomes could fall off a cliff at the end of the season as the playoff race heats up hope it doesn't because he's such a joy to watch play but anythings possible right?

Especially when Cam and Matt both have one. Who would ever take either of those guys over Drew?

I think hes gonna win it, playing at an insane level and they will give it to him because of his career.

I hope that KC beats the Rams despite Kermit throwing 5 picks.

I will say this, if Drew Brees does win league mvp, super bowl mvp, and passes manning for alltime tds, than I think he has to pass Peyton up in those GOAT discussions vs Tom Brady. Jmo

If the Saints go anywhere between 15-1 to 13-3, they'll give it to him as a lifetime achievement award. Although I'd personally rather him get another SB MVP

He has, but I'm waiting for the bullshite from them...

I can see it now.

Kamara and Thomas. So amazing. Brees has so many help.

Ignores the fact that tyreek hill is the best deep threat in the league. Kelce is the best tight end (gronk is always hurt), and Hunt is a top 5 rb.

Seems to be a bad omen with winning the MVP. Let Mahomes get it. Brees will get that Super Bowl MVP

Assuming Drew continues this pace, if they were to give it to someone else in a season where he breaks 3 unbreakable records including shattering his completion % record, then Jesus H Christ I don’t know what else he can do. And to hell with the NFL.

Time will tell, if NOLA finishes with the league's best record, no. 1 seed, and Brees continues his pace like you said, I'd be hard-pressed to argue Mahomes deserves it but when it comes to MVP voting it almost has as much to do with narrative and story as it does with stats and W-L record and journalists' biases and such, in my estimation Brees' season and story breaking the NFL career records concurrently when he's about to turn 40 is as impressive if not more than Mahomes' narrative, we'll see.

Who said anything about Montana? I SAID Drew should be over Manning if he does that. I know that anyone that argues Montana or Brady is going to need to see Drew win 4 or 5 super bowls with the Saints around him, and I am ok with that.

I think that Mahomes will tail off as the KC weather deteriorates. I know that they had snow there earlier this week.

I don't own Mahomes in FF so this not as biased as could be.

Mahomes is legit. But Brees is tGoat. And its not even throw some shade to Brees.

Is it about the team? Saints have better record.

Is it about stats? Brees better in every category except passing TDs.

QBR, Completion %, TD/INT, etc.

The national media is starting to pick up on it... and I think they will help MVP Brees. They're only worried about making news, so shifting the narrative to Brees underrated will be a thing IMO.
