I have a feeling we may have said we will just sit this one out in regards to qb.

they would have taken picket at 19 if they wanted a QB this year
they only have 3 picks left now, 2 of which are late rounds so its a need player in 2nd round and then a special teams and/or depth player is all you can expect in 5th, 6th, and 7th rounds unless they can trade all of those to get back into the 4th round

I would consider Bailey Zappe in the 5th. After him I don't really care for the rest.

Passing on Pickett is going to haunt us. When we play the steelers in the SB in the next couple of years.
He is going to destroy us.

You don’t decide to take or not take a QB you n a vacuum. The supply of QBs is too small. You have to pair your opinion of the player with the selection.
If you need a WR, the volume of players typically allows you to make sure you get one in the top 2-3 rounds.
I’m 100% sure there’s a point when we would draft a QB. I just don’t know where that is. Passing on one at 19 is a pretty strong sign they don’t love any of them.
