"Letters are being sent to their major advertisers as well. None of them will receive a penny from me.
I, and many, many others, will not be listening to WWL once the clock strikes 4:00 pm. until Bobby Hebert has either pubilicly apologized to Williams and the Saints or is no longer on the air."
because the Saints organization, WWL, and the world revolves around what this person and their echo chamber thinks.
if you don't like it, don't listen. get over yourself. you're not important.

There were 15 on line signatures. Some of them were jokes (Morten Andersen and Jim Mora) and some signers did not put their last names. I am sure Bobby is not worried about this.

If there's anything that needs a petition IMO, it's the Crunk song. That's probably just as unpopular as removing Hebert, but I think we need some new karma.
GTFO. For the first time in years that song finally gave the fans some extra juice. Have a downvote sir.

I find Bobby a disagreeable chap at times. But I will defend to the death his right to say..."yeah...yeah...but NO".

Bobby has sweet courtside and suite tickets for Pels games.

The Dallas Cowgirls! I love listening to Bobby Hebert win or lose. He is passionate and isn’t afraid to share the same thoughts that the fans are thinking. Just like he questioned Les Miles about not switching QBs at half during the National Championship game between LSU and Bama- we all wanted to know and we all wanted and deserved an answer. You can say all you want that he was pissed about his son not playing, but the fact remained that everyone was wondering why. Quit crying about his comments. The Marcus Williams play looked very very shady. Do I think it was done on purpose? Probably not, but it doesn’t mean we weren’t thinking it!!!

one of the last times I listened to WWL was on draft day last year.
Hebert sort of dogged Lattimore after Lattimore gave some interview commenting on becoming a Saint. Lattimore had said something along the line of "I'll go out there and try my best" Then Hebert made a comment about how that wasn't a very reassuring thing to say. He went on to say how he played with one of the greats in Deion Sanders in ATL and that a 1st round selection should be more confident like Deion was or have more swagger.
I realize you have to say unpopular things a lot to keep people listening but that was fricking awful. Here the Saints were gifted a player who slid to them in the 1st round and this jackass wants to remind people he once played with Deion Sanders? frick out of here.
I'm sure he'd be a cool guy to drink beer with though. And from what I can tell, he has to rant in excess cause da Big Chief's only specialties are cutting off callers and reading box scores.

Bobby and Duece got me listening again.

Bobby and Duece got me listening again.
ETA: Check that--Deuce is bad as a color analyst during the games. However, his input on Sports Talk is well above anything Bobby contributes.

To be fair, that's the type of restaurant Metairie likes. North Metairie only likes the chain vibe places.

I mean. Radio listening is personal. I stated my opinion, you stated yours. Opinions are neither true or false.
It's a personal feeling and I disagree with you.

quote:What is it about Bobby and Deuce that you find so appealing? Particularly Bobby who I feel would never have a shot to work in media outside of New Orleans. Outside of "Aw shucks, he's a hometown boy" he's ill-suited for the job.
