His name is Bill Harris. He really loves the Saints and is happy he got to go to the game as he hasn't seen a Saints game in some time. HE HAS NEVER BEEN TO THE SUPERDOME!! Tickets to the Redskins game was a birthday present from his son Scot, who got the tickets from his boss. Their family has been Saints fans since 1966! That was the year Dave Dixon got the ball rolling for the Saints to be our team! Their dad went to the Lee Circle Saints ticket office when the first season began in 1967, with hopes of being the first in line. He wasn't first but he got great seats around the 10 yard line. He said, "That's where all the action is!" He was right.
Bill was in Tulane Stadium for Gilliam's kick-off return.
He remembers Archie Manning throwing an 80 yard TD to Danny Abramowitz.
Bill has been living in the D.C. area and has been pulling for his Saints his entire time there!
Bill is coming to New Orleans for the Cowboys game. As soon as we have flight details, we will announce what time he will be arriving at the airport.
There will also be a meet and greet at the Carousel at the Hotel Monteleone where they will name a drink after him. Day and time to follow.

This is going to be fun and will end up being a great story about the spirit of the Saint's fans.

This is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. No disrespect to this fan but he is no different than any other fan at Saints games both home and away.

As a lifelong diehard fan of the Saints I am NOT offended by everyone making such a big deal out of Bill. I think it's a great story so far.
The one thing everyone should remember here is that Bill didn't ask for all this hoopla. All he did was go to the game and never gave up cheering for his team.
I look forward to seeing his face at more games.
Also I think it's a hoot that all of this backfired in FOX's face for zooming in on him.
Go Saints, Go WhoDat Nation, Go Uncle Bill!!!

shite I would have dressed up like a bum to a Saints game a long time ago if I knew this would be the reward.

People who portray themselves as something they're not as a means to an end will seldom be rewarded for it.

I kind of agree with you. I'm glad the guy gets tickets and all, but most people reacted only because they made assumptions based upon the way the guy looked at the game. It was sort of insulting to him.

They need to let Uncle Bill Mojo lead the Saints onto the field before kickoff on a Motorcycle. That would be EPIC
I also hope Deke and Bobby have him on the air at DEANIE's after the game

That doesn't necessarily mean the guy can rearrange his whole life in the space of 4 days...

This shite is too cool. The Washington papers are going to get in on this and the whole weekend for him is probably going to be on some of the national sports shows.
