DA is a defense guy, his D got salty once Williams got his feet under him.

Front office has a history of picking players we didnt expect

only a small few "cant miss" prospects

ladies and gentleman, boys and girls - Kyle Hamilton

quote:

Hamilton is a future all-star with a game built on instincts, awareness and elite athleticism. He covers ground like a center fielder while packing a punch like an All-Pro linebacker. As a middle-of-the-field defender with size, range and versatility, Hamilton is the type of player whom defensive coordinators build game plans around.

how bad would the melt be if the Black and Gold trade up to 5-10 range to get a Safety, even a future All Pro??

#1 overall player article

You never trade what it would cost to get to 5 for a safety. Never ever

I don’t think you trade up for an LB

Pretty fricking bad and deservedly so. Safeties aren't worth top 5 picks.

“Former Irish safety said he ran a 4.56 in the 40-yard dash, which was his sole workout today. Hamilton said he’s already had Zoom meetings with the Seahawks, Giants, and Saints. Bills up next,” wrote Sampson via Twitter.

I only want OLs or TEs from Notre Dame - every other position - hard pass.

No, he ran a 4.59 as a safety. Richard Sherman ran a 4.56 as a cornerback and is a borderline hall of famer.

Hamilton will go top 7 and possibly top 3 so forget it. He’s that good.

I wouldn’t hate it if we still had the second first rounder after all is said and done. He’s a fantastic player.

I like to go back and take a look at my old posts every once in a while, and you can see why most of this board is a bunch of idiots, including myself. Kyle Hamilton finished as the highest rated safety in the entire NFL this past season according to PFF.

Some really great takes in this post though.

"I'm attempting to lap people because a rookie safety who started 4 games and had just 548 defensive snaps all year was graded highly by PFF - a flawed data collective that operates off assumptions and gets shite on routinely by the actual players."

He's a fine player but we are a long way away from safety being our last hole
