The tanking talk needs to stop.

Team is 5-2.
Team is going to win 8 games even tanking and win 10 to 12 while going for it.
This is a bad qb draft. So tanking would be stupid.

I've always said teams that play for a draft pick will always be playing for a draft pick. As long as we are good in the trenches we can compete with anyone.

Maybe I missed some threads, but I haven't seen any tanking talks. The talks that need to stop that are filling the board are the "this team needs to trade for a vet QB now". There isn't another QB out there, that is available via trade, that will be able to step in and pick up the offense right away. Also, it is extremely rare for teams to trade away their QBs (backups included) because they are a marginally important part of the team

Of course it needs to stop. This team is too good to tank even without a quarterback. Keep that tanking talk on the other side of the Airline Highway facility.

you only tank if you need a top to bottom rebuild and/or there is a franchise talent QB you can get
neither of those fits the saints right now
they will end up a little better then 500 and most likely have a shot at a wild card
