I think he settles in as a true FS. Even has the body type for it.
He has some marcus williams traits. The way he breaks on the ball is elite. I just wonder how long it will take him to settle in.

yes, with 4.36 speed

I think this kid can be better than Marcus bust, Williams was an up and down type of player, just an inconsistent safety.

From his highlights he plays with the same intensity as Ceedy

Why do you people overreact on here, look I'm giving you my opinion and I can tell by watching this kid's film he has what it takes. I played college ball, and also coached HS football, I can look at a player and see what he has in him by looking at how he runs, plays, and athleticism, etc. But you believe in whatever it is that you believe in because all most of you guys do on this site is insult people and talk shite out of your asses that you know nothing about, and most of y'all never played any organized sports. lol

Should have taken another WR, that group is still pretty thin, and one injury away from being right back to where we have been the last few years

Adebo should have been a 1st round pick
Adebo was rated as a first rounder after his first year starting, took a step back the following year then sat out the covid year and dropped because of it.

Or, drafting Olave gives us more leverage with Landry. We’re not as desperate as we were 24 hours ago.

They may find a gem in the later rounds with the picks they have left, it's not over.

College corners move to safety all the time. Just like college tackles move to guard. Malcom Jenkins is a good example. The kid will be fine.

True that, sir. I love how this kid breaks on the ball when it's in the air, he doesn't hesitate, the Marcus kid hesitated a lot. Some DBs will wait on a ball to pic it, that's what Williams did, they don't realize that when that damn ball is thrown by the QB and in the air that you have as much right to it as a WR, so go get it.

We did it with Jenkins. We could have done it with Adebo, but we didn’t have to. Either he can play Safety or Ceedy moves and he’s your nickel. It’s a pretty low risk proposition when you think of it that way.
I took a quick peek at his numbers and he’s a volume tackler for a corner. That’s a good sign. Are we really questioning DA on a DB decision?

This dude might very well turn out to be the real deal…
But does anyone else think we were all primed up to take Jaquan Brisker had the Bears not nabbed him one pick earlier? I have to think that would have been our direction had he still been an option

GL with that. Just sayin'
I almost didn’t even put that in, but figured I had no chance if I didn’t lol

Whatever they saw on film and otherwise is the reason they took him at that pick, and they had to feel really good, solid about him to take him there. But yeah, Brisker could have been a target.

Yes I think Brisker was the pick

You are probably right. Thought Chicago would go receiver there.
