Tua is a good passer, but I think you are underestimating the cerebral aspect of the Saints offense. There is no way a rookie comes in and picks up this system in 2 years. You need more of a game manager at QB here with good accuracy.

Towards the end of Bama's season, he didn't impress me.

His dad would probably tell the QB coach what to do.

Maybe it something to do with Tua being hurt & playing behind an offensive line that despite popular belief, really struggled at times in pass protection.

Short of gutting this young roster there is no shot we will be close to shitty enough to even be in the conversation.

Uh shitty QB play is a great way to go from “great young roster” to “rutterleas shop”

We could very well be bad for 1 year if we don’t sign a FA qb

I'd rather have Billy Joe Hobert than Alabama trash

No.

I don't want to listen to anymore New Orleans players in black and gold yelling Roll Tide in my fricking state.

There are over 120 colleges to choose from. Find somebody else

I'm not a Tua hater, but Saints FO is all-in for Brees window. And it makes sense, we should have been in Superbowl LIE and the possible ring and banner.

That said, I don't know if NFL has rules on tanking at all. Anyone know NFL tanking rules? I know Gruden didn't tank as you would expect this year. I assume it's a collective direction from ownership and frick-face Goodell.

Depending on situation, I'm all in tanking 0-16 in 2020. But that's 2 years out. Brees to Lawrence.

We still wouldn’t be nearly bad enough to get the number one overall pick.

Way too much talent in defense, o line, and Kamara/MT. Besides we’ve actually become a damn good organization with our coaching staff, Ireland, loomis. Good organizations have a plan going forward that doesn’t involve racing 8-10 other teams to the bottom of the fricking league.

I don't think he is going to be a great pro for a long time.
He will probably flash but the real catch will still be playing at Clemson.
