We weren't running out a mega talented group at full health but things looked pretty good the first 2 weeks. McCoy goes down in week 3 and it immediately went right the frick to hell and hasn't recovered.

You watch the complete mess they put on tonight and the offensive line consistently ruined everything.

I thought I would be happy if we weren't talking about Penning in week 5 lol

Penning

Ahh the veteran stalwart and relative bright spot on the line. I barely notice he's out there anymore.

Basically

At best, this OL would be top 15-20. Add the injuries and it’s a disaster. And it’s a disaster up the middle, Fuaga and Penning have been fine overall.

You have to throw the Taysom injury as well.

Agreed that losing key pieces on the OL kills us. Carr is average at best, and well below average when he doesn’t have a rock solid OL. To hell with trading for Adams, get another OL

Wow it’s like they have no depth. I wonder if maybe, spitballing here, they didn’t frequently trade draft picks to move up and weren’t always way over the cap and constantly having to scramble and redo contracts you could build some depth. Bad roster management might have consequences

Mc Coy and Hill’s injuries are too much for this team to overcome

TH was run block blasting people opening up gaping holes for Kamara too.

No one should ever doubt the toughness of TH or his importance.

Without the starting center and guard with TH thrown in, the coaching staff just completely lacks the ability to adjust.

I agree that OL is a higher priority than Adams (or any WR), but Adams is more available than any equivalent OL I’m aware of.

The Saints are not the only team with injuries and if a part time gadget player is too big of an injury to over come that just proves the point about roster management

Well McCoy, Ruiz, Hill, Demario, Gay and Werner are all starters, so there's that. Davis did play tonight, but non-factor.

In other words they have no depth

Davis and McCoy are 2 of the best players on the team losing them hurts no doubt but we all figured at KC was a loss when the schedule was released. Hill is a part time player KC was without Rice and Pacheco
