The next time someone tries to tell you Drew Brees is not a top 10 all time QB..

-on track for 4th most QB wins all time despite Saints defense averaging 21st over the past 10 years
-Highest completion % of all time
-Will be all time yardage leader
-will be all time TD leader
-Has a higher career QB rating than Brady and Manning (when you add playoff stats). More yards, More TD's, higher QB rating and a lower INT % than Manning and he's not even in their company in the eyes of many. What a damn shame
Most importantly, he turned around the laughing stock of the NFL and brought a championship to the greatest city in American history.

Yet there are some people who STILL believe he isn't a first ballot hall of famer. We as Saints fans have been spoiled rotten for 10 years watching his poetry on the field.

Its all espns fault. Call me crazy but I think being the elite short QB in the NFL takes away from his popularity immensely. Brees looks like the average Joe, while Brady is Brady and goes home to Gisele. He's the obvious choice for them. Not saying he doesn't deserve the praise at all I just think Drew is as good when you consider what he's had around him, offensively and defensively

One of my coworkers tried to tell me that Brees isn't a hall of fame qb. It is such an ignorant and stupid opinion that I didn't know how to respond. It could be that he was just trying to get back at me for messing with him about the cowboys for years, but i kind think that he seemed to really believe it.

Honestly the majority of literate people outside New Orleans would say he isn't top 10. They are completely ignorant to his greatness bc he's played in a small market and wasn't part of the Brady/Manning rivalry or the Green Bay Packers. It's a shame, but it is what it is.
I'd also take Drews wife over Gisele FWI. It's almosst the perfect comparison. Plenty of small town babes hotter than Gisele. Just like there's a small town QB better than Brady

We had more wins than any other team in the entire NFL since he joined in 2006 up until bounty gate penalties which was what 2012?
Pretty remarkable feat and he was beating hof qbs consistently h2h in prime time beat downs

Here is all you need to know. Only 8 times in the history of the NFL has a QB thrown for 5,000 yds in a season. FOUR of the 8 were by Brees. Of the other 4, no QB has more than 1.

I'm biased, but knowing his work ethic, and his refined skill set, I say he's Top 3 EASY. He's a true on-field general. An asset to the game of football.
