I didn’t downvote but I can certainly explain this.

Taysom Hill makes $556k a year while Bridgewater makes $7.2 million. Payton has no choice but to play Bridgewater.

Well that’s your problem. If you had been on the sideline you would know what the frick you’re talking about.

If you can't understand why it's okay to insert the third string quarterback in the game in certain situations, but don't understand how that changes when he's now the only other active quarterback on the roster on game days, meaning playing both quarterbacks extensively in the game puts both at risk of injury, then I can't help you.

Oh oh I'll try.

One qb is 1-0 and one is 0-0.

When one qb goes 2-0 it will make it tough for the other one to get a start.

If one qb goes 1-1 or 1-2 then the qb that's 0-0 will get their chance to go 1-0.

I’m curious myself why we haven’t seen Hill in at QB like we do when Drew is playing. I’ve read all the theories in this thread and they are mostly reasonable. The only other thing I can come up with is the 2 non-offensive TD’s were enough for CSP to not want to get too cute and just let Teddy get his reps in and finish out the game.

I think it all boils down to: Bridgewater needs as much work as possible..

Dallas' Defense will more than lilely expose Bridgewater on National TV. Brees had trouble with that Defense last year. I hope Im wrong, but I see Dallas thrashing our Saints

This offense is designed for a pocket passer.
i.e. Brees - Bridgewater. Teddy is slow on his reads and progressions but should get faster with his recognition each week. So far no lost fumbles or interceptions from Teddy. He will never be Brees but if he keeps improving we should be alright. So sit back, enjoy the ride and let Payton earn his check. I think Payton knows what he's got in the stable.

THe Oline and dline have got to show up for us.

If they do I think we will be okay.

Enough to win... I don’t know.

All I know is that we don’t win that game last week without a defensive TD and a special teams TD.

Those aren’t sustainable each week.

I know teddy has escaped some interceptions but he’s also had guys drop some passes.

Maybe Payton has some plays dialed up for Taysom this week.

I just don’t want the o and d line to be a no show for this game.

I agree btw on Seattle being overrated.

Didn’t hear a damn thing from clowney in that game. At least not consistently.

Russ Wilson is a great Qb but that final score wasn’t indicative of how the game went.

We had 2 interceptions called back.

I think both were offside calls on the saints d which is technically a free play for the offense I guess.

Their problem Is that they don’t have a RB worth a shite.

Not sense Lynch anyway.

Plus Baldwin retired and now they’ve got just Lockett and rookie Metcalf at WR pretty much.

Beating them on the road though a week after losing Breesus was so enjoy though.
