Well, that's enough derailment.

Haslett SUCKS!

Speaking of the 90's Billy Joe Tolliver is here in Shreveport now and his boy is in my kids theater group.

He has a pretty hot wife.

From 2002 to 2005, Mueller served as an NFL analyst for ESPN.

Haslett was fired in 2005.
Loomis was hired by the Saints in 2000 and became GM in 2002.

Most of these guys listed, i remember early injuries in the start of their careers that they never even got off on the right foot.

I'm pretty sure Jim mora was the coach and lil Jim "don't call me jr" mora was the secondary coach and we some how drafted a db. Coincidence I don't think so.

I beg to differ. Jim Finks took
Shawn Knight 1st round. Number 11th over all I think he played 3 years in the league, and only one for the Saints. He was flat out rotten.

Knight #11, 3 years, 31 games, 3 teams, done

Sullivan #6, 3 years, 36 games, done

i'll vote Sullivan worse. Not only a higher draft pick but that traded up to get him. Who were those players? Bryant Johnson, Calvin Pace, and Anquan Boldin

I'm going with Knight because Shawn Knight was taken 11th overall pick. He would not start a single game for the Saints and only played in 10 games.
I Think Sullivan was with the team for 3 years before he was let go, and he started 16 Games in those 3 years.

Holy shite that was some terrible, I mean terrible drafts

Yes, it was always Eddie George for that Molden pick. I don't ever remember people saying Ray Lewis, although that sucks just as much but I am pretty sure if memory serves me right, RB was a big need with that pass over.

Smeenge

Smeenge was certainly not a bust of Sullivan-Knight proportions. He had a decent career.

There was a guard in the '70s named Royce Smith the Saints took very high.

And the genuine old timers will remember the Saints' first season, when they had the first pick but traded it to the Colts for Unitas' backup Gary Cuozzo (yes, the Saints traded the #1 pick in the draft for a backup QB -- the first of many immortal decisions under John Mecom).
