Of the candidates still available that we know have interviewed, this would be my order of preference.
1) Klint Kubiak - Last coach from the original top tier IMO.
2) Brian Griese - Gamble because he hasn't called plays but has tons of upside.
3) Luke Getsy - A lot of people say don't get blinded by stint in Chicago He's a sharp offensive mind.
I feel like there should be a separation between these two groups.
4) Brian Johnson - Kenda feel like settling and going back to the well.
5) Ronald Curry - Knows the roster and legit could work out but feel like they know what they have in him and would have pulled the trigger if they liked him that much.
6) Greg Lewis - Feel like a last ditch effort to hit on an up and coming young assistant.
7) Mike Sullivan - Feels like totally giving up and just needing a warm body in the role to go down with the ship.
I'll also add that reportedly there are others that have been interviewed and not reported on at least one not currently on a NFL staff (Gruden?? but it's not secret they talked to him) and at least one in the college ranks that is not being named for obvious recruiting reasons.

Kubiak then Griese for me. I have heard that Getsy has a good offensive mind, but man that Bears offense was horrendous. In Getsy’s defense……Fields is horrendous, so much of that may not be on him. So I would put him 3rd.
Really don’t want anything to do with the rest. Will be really pissed if it’s Curry

Im not sure i see a real fit with Johnson. Isnt his offense an RPO offense?
Im not entirely sure what role he played in Phillys collapse as well.

I wouldn't say i'd be pissed but it would feel like "why the hell didn't you promote him during the season?"
He's the one guy that they had a chance to take for a test drive and let him call plays.
On the good side, I think he's a capable guy of designing offenses and one of the best things would be Carr wouldn't be starting over with a new system in year two. He called plays in preseason though I have no recollection of whether or nor that was a positive or negative or if you could really make any judgment in the preseason.

Sirianni is a nut. Dude had a complete meltdown this season, then fired everyone, and hired Kellen Moore and Vic Fangio as his make or break for next season.
That said, if Johnson is an RPO guy that would be the worst hire unless they plan to get a different QB. Carr is the last QB you want reading a run/pass option. Just promote Curry if you’re down to that point.

Gruden??
Rich Gannon was just talking on NFL radio, touching on all the open OC jobs. When he got to the Saints he said very matter of factly, “people will be surprised when they announce that name” and moved on quickly to the next team.
Gannon obviously has a Gruden connection.. could be nothing

Who's that OC from Chicago? I say him so we can completely crash and burn this shitshow and finally move on to a fully revamped coaching staff.

Luke Getsy and that might not get your what you want. dispitte Chicago's woes this, his first and only season as OC there, many point to Getsy as likely being the fall guy for a terrible offense in general starting with Justin Fields.
You want to totally crap out and hit rock bottom. Sullivan is your guy.

If its Gruden, I'm pulling for the Texans.
Do we have a Texan Talk on here by chance?

I think they want to get Gruden in the building but iirc it's been reported that he wouldn't be coming here as OC. If at all.
I believe a lot of Gruden coming here or anywhere is dependant on the legal battles he has with the NFL. I haven't totally followed the case but iirc it has nothing to do with what the said in emails and he has since apologized for all that. He's problem is that the Emails were leaked by the league office breaching their own confidentiality policy. It's a thumb in the eye of Goodall (which I have no problem with) but if the NFL has confidentiality disclaimers on all NFL official emails as most corporations do and they are proven to have leaked these to sources outside the NFL (media) well he's go a point and the NFL looks like a bunch of jackasses.
Long story longer I don't think anything happens with Gruden until after the dust settles from his legal stuff. around the summer iirc

The OC is only as good as his QB.Perfect example is Joe
Brady. At LSU he had JB at Carolina garbage now at Buffalo
he has a very good one. Chicago has Feilds who sucks.

You need to really take a step back and assess some of these guys.
People would’ve been jizzing over getsy two years ago. Worked under McCarthy and lafluer, pass game coordinator and QB coach when Rodgers won b2b MVPs
You either get an OC who has never done it or ya get a former OC who wasn’t retained by someone. Pick your poison

Comparing college to the NFL is not really a fair comparison. Especially Carolina's dysfunction.
I think the saying can be equally as true by saying a QB in only as good as his OC/coaches. There's several QBs in the league right now that prove that.
The trick is you need the right combination and that might no mean the best of either but what works here, now.

Joe Brady wasn't even the OC at LSU.

Why would he even stay here then? You guys are hilarious with you're delusions.
It may very well be Curry but that by far isn't the worst choice.
