How do we know they did not call a bunch of teams? Are you making assumptions because there were no leaks?

I wonder if Dianna & Vrabel getting caught put a temporary plug into some of these leaks???

Cleveland didn't even let any other teams know they were dealing Garrett. Does anyone else find that suspicious?

What other team had a young DL star that they were willing to give up? No other team would have been willing to part ways with a Jared Verse type player.

This is going to be a great year for Cleveland.

Once Shedur gets hot down there, they will do exciting things.

I'm in the minority. Cleveland just being Cleveland.
They had the best non QB player in the league. In his prime. A prime position. The kind of player every single team prays to get.
Those draft pics are a handful of wishful magic beans. Verse is the consolation prize. To not get multiple first round picks as a start was ignorant.

Cleveland is going to be great.
They just pulled off that blockbuster trade that hosed NE.
They got a Young Strong NFL QB that is going to bust open the NFL for that town. Its going to be exciting in Cleveland.

Cap doesn't really have anything to do with it.

It kind of does, Garrett signed a $160 MM contract, the Browns now have $73 million in dead money on the deal. The Rams will pay Garrett a total of $4 million in base salary over 3 years.

With roster bonuses and incentives included, Garrett will count for 2.7% of the Rams cap this year and 4.97% the following season.

Stupid trade for the Rams. One player can’t make that big of an impact to justify it. This has shades of the Hershel Walker trade. The only player worth mortgaging your future for is a proven winning QB. When will these stupid GM’s learn to stop making trades like this?!

Supposedly the eagles called and made a play and the Browns were interested. But they wanted Jalen Carter, you know the guy they drafted with our pick, and Howie told them no. They offered Nolan smith. Of course Verse is better so Myles is a Ram.
